"Why haven't you replied to my messages?"
As soon as Wu Xingxing entered, she asked bluntly.
After Wu Xingxing made that phone call that night, she sent several messages over the past few days.
Li Qing had read them all, but he hadn't responded to any.
"I didn't know what to reply," Li Qing said indifferently.
"So do you mean you're still mad at me?" Wu Xingxing's lips puckered, her eyes brimmed with tears.
Li Qing hurriedly said, "I'm not mad, it's just that I really didn't know what to say, and it wasn't something I could easily discuss with you."
"I wasn't expecting you to say anything special, a casual reply would have been fine!"
Wu Xingxing pouted, her voice already edging towards crying.
This caught Li Qing off guard. He wanted to reach out to comfort her, but it felt awkward to do so.
"Look, I'm really not mad," Li Qing said awkwardly.
The messages Wu Xingxing had sent these past few days were all apologies.
