Humans, some have respect, some have none...I never understood their ignorance...but...I kinda like it and it's the 21st century. No one cares what you are or what you do. And they even respect women as much as they respect men, not all the time, but they do.

All the other Gods made up their minds to leave Olympus for as long as we want because we were getting a little bored. That was a whole decade ago, so we adjusted to the community and we understand. I chose New York, a busy place.

I got the job of a businesswoman, a C.E.O. of a Tech company I started on my own, then got allies.

It was a little though, even though I'm a Goddess, I didn't want to use my power cause it would be unfair.

Some people think it's because I used my power, no it was my wisdom. After all, I am the Goddess of Wisdom, so it's normal, am I right?

My biggest competition is Poseidon and Hades. I'm cool with Hades, but, Poseidon we have a very long history, a bad one. I cringed at the thought of him. I hate him, but I can't do anything, because I can get in a lot of trouble because Zeus is his brother.

Hades and I have a growing relationship, he doesn't like the movies that portray him as a bad guy. He is actually cool, before we didn't talk much because once in a while he would visit Olympus.

He is the only God, and probably Ares that respects women, he's still loyal to Persephone and she is still loyal to him. Demeter let her go to live with her significant other.

He told me he, Demeter, and Persephone meet up every Sunday to talk about life as a God and stuff like that.

It's crazy how people expect us to look old but, we don't at all we look younger, far younger than they expect.

I walked into my private elevator, my heels clicking in a rhythm that I liked, it always made me feel proud, but in other moments I feel humble. I had a meeting at 9:30 for a new assistant, I do have one now but she's just temporary, she was my former assistant Harriet, assistant. Yes, I know I give my assistant, an assistant, because when my assistant has fallen ill, Solange, Harriet's assistant is there.

Harriet has an assistant, but Harriet is not allowed to give all her work to her assistant. Harriet, my former assistant only gives Solange one-quarter of her work. which is basically arranging meetings, scheduling, preparation for meetings, and other work-related things.

I let her into my personal business but only her, I never let anyone into it, some people say I'm a cold-ass bitch, I brush it off because I am that bitch, I'm guaranteed to get that bag, but for sure I'm humble.

I don't punish humans, that's not my responsibility, I got no time for that.

I reached the 18th floor it's my office floor and walked out of the elevator to my office, the floor is only occupied by my office and Harriet's office. Solange doesn't work on this floor, I offered and she declined.

I know why she declined, she wants to stay closer to Juanpa, I know they have a crush on each other. Juanpa is Hispanic and Solange is an African-American. Juanpa is Micheal's assistant. Micheal is Harriet's husband, Micheal and Harriet met each other in this building and hit it off there.

Harriet always says if it wasn't for me she would've never met him before she disliked him, she use to says he's filled with toxic masculinity and white privilege. I agreed with her, but I only hired him because of his skills.

But, I saw right through him, he had on a mask, he liked her but was just afraid to say because she's a touch-me-not, when she needs to be, but she's like every girl's best friend, the feisty, cute, kind, well-mannered one, the one the parents will fall in love with.

I just love her, I always tell her if I could get her nice dark-skin I would've but, we are in a time where that is not acceptable, and I understand that.

I smiled as I remember all the times we had fun. When we come back from girl's night at her place, Micheal is always upset and has a scowl on his face, I laugh at it because she's always drunk, and just throws herself on him and make-out with him.

I know what will happen next because, when she wakes up she'll tell me what she did the last-night, and I'll chuckle.

Looking at the picture with the both of us on the table with its frame decorated in rainbows and glitter, she was holding both my boobs in her hands, I was holding her throat, both of our tongues was out and the tips were touching, we both had a beautiful smile. We wore matching outfits that day, it was 90's streetwear it was the baggy T-shirt and the boyfriend pants.

She had gotten her nails done that day, it was 2 inches long, I liked them and wanted to try, but then I said Nah.

I heard a knock on my door so I straightened open and said come in. Solange came in smiling, it was contagious so I smiled also.

"Good Morning, boss."

"Good Morning, Solange." I raised an eyebrow as she sat on my couch and kicked back.

"He finally had the balls to ask me," she began to giggle in love," He finally has a dick in his pants."

"Juan asked you?" I asked, and she scrunched her face, she looked cute doing that.

"Not Juan, Juanpa." I giggled, I knew who she was talking about but I just shortened his name,

"I know." I turned my head to the side, and looked at her, with the smile on my face, she blushed.

"I like him so much, uuuhhhh Latinos, so sexy." she blushed hard, even though she's dark-skinned you could she the red,"He knows how to work that."

"Solange," I gasped, "Not in my office." we both laughed.

"I was waiting for him to ask this bad bitch out."

"You don't normally talk like that, he's given you confidence, maybe he is the right one for you."

"Last night, we had a one-night stand, we were drunk and he admitted his love for me and this morning he asked me to be his girlfriend," we squealed and she jumped up and down, I ran out of my seat and we were hugging.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"I said yes."
