The Second Princess hesitated upon hearing this question.
Yet, under her father's piercing gaze, she couldn't hide the truth and confessed the situation honestly.
"Close to eighty percent..."
"To think that there are still twenty percent who chose to stay, not bad..." King Minos smiled to himself, muttering under his breath.
Hearing her father's words and mistaking them for sarcasm, the Second Princess immediately spoke up to comfort him.
"That's only for the other city-states. In Knossos City, more than thirty percent have chosen to stay, willing to stand with you until the very last breath in battle for this land! My sisters and I feel the same!"
King Minos shook his head at his daughter's promise, smiling without a word, just gazing at the sunset inch by inch dipping below the horizon and murmured.
