Ariel was at a Loss, standing in the middle of the room alone. "insensitive prick, how can he just leave like that", shaking her head she now was expectantly annoyed but also a look of perplexion took over, "shit!",
Ariel internally was coming to the realization that she wasn't used to being alone, not with her thoughts, not with her mind and not with herself, since Lotus came into her life she began heavily relying on him and so internally is feeling a sense of displacement.
stuffing the bed with some extra pillows from the cupboard, tip-toeing her way down the corridor and down the stairs ending up back at the reception where she and Lotus first encountered the strangest bunch of humans "damn the candle, it's gone" After staring intuitively at the space where the candle used to be she shrugged her shoulders and tiptoed not very secretively down to the next room to see the kitchen, her eyes widened like gates, 'never has a kitchen looked so good to me' an empty room of marble and polished tiles, enough food on the counter to feed 10 family's; bread, crackers, poultry, the whole lot. "Grrrrr" Ariel's stomach growled like a feverish beast, "haha guess your belly couldn't be as quiet as you haha" Christophe standing behind Ariel snickered comedically, 'oh shit', Ariel panicked internally.
"Go on… eat girl, eat up" Ariel stood perplexed with a hint of expectancy in her eyes, "eat girl before your stomach wakes up the others seriously," he said with emoting his hands for her to go on, and with slight hesitation, she broke a piece of the bread with her hands and slowly chewed, until gradually after every bite she increased her chewing speed till she was munching everything in sight like an untamed animal. 'Lotus must be hungry… I hope he's ok' Ariel couldn't help but think about him and what he was doing amidst all her ravaging.
"So, Sorry I don't remember actually catching your name young lady", Christophe said with a rather curious look on his face, "mm oh! Ariel", "ah I see... what a lovely name" he looked away almost as if reminiscing, " well, what about your boyfriend I didn't get his name?", Ariel immediately looked up with cheeks as red as tomatoes "ahh, umm boy.. Ah Lotus," she said nervously.
"Lotus? Hmm strange name haha, well alright, is there a reason Lotus didn't join you on your food escapade" Christophe asked intuitively, "ahh he was too exhausted from the travelling you see he..", Suddenly out of nowhere a loud bursting sound erupted from upstairs
"What on earth, Gosh, the kids" Christophe gasped in panic
Up the stair outside the room Ariel and Lotus are meant to be sleeping in, A red-haired girl, with smooth porcelain skin and ocean blue eyes with pointy ears stood angrily, "who the hell has been in my room!" she looked around at all the kids in the corridor who stood innocently as the looked at Ariel and Christophe coming up the stairs.
"Isabella, you're back, what a lovey surprise, I guess the mission went well!" Christophe said with a smile as bright as the sun.
"Cut the pleasantries old man, what happened to my room, and who is this bitch"
"Isabelle manners, we don't speak to people like this remember and you see, this is Ariel she and Lotus will be staying in your room for the meanwhile, you can stay with Claudia" a bead of sweat dripping down his cheek.
"Are you serious!!",
"yes I am serious and you should be respectful to them" christophe adamantly raising his eyebrows
"ew im not respecting her"
"well if you have a problem you can sleep outside doesnt matter to me" Ariel said slowly getting fed up with the attitude towards her even though she was a guest she's not one to get pushed around needlessly
"what did you say to me bitch!" Isabelle's hands heating up beside her the surrounding area's temperature increased
"go on call me it one more time we'll see what happens" Ariels rolled her hand into a fist which started glowing a mysterious type of blue getting ready for whatever was altercation was about to take place
all the room doors started opening up and curious faces could be seen peering out to watch the spectacle, to their dismay however
"Stop now! other both of you will be out"
they both released the tension from their fists but still made sure to hold their dirty looks
"Isabelle you will stay with annabeth in her room end of, go now!"
"hmph whatever"- isabelle walking into a room at the end and slamming the door behind her
"And Ariel don't get caught up in her attitude please by the way…" as he looked at Ariel, "where is Lotus?"
"yes sorry and... he must've gone out for a walk, he's had alot on his mind" she said not trying to draw any suspicions
"I see, but its quite late, these streets get dangerous around these times"
"Oh he should be back by morning, He's also pretty strong I don't he'll find any trouble"

- Meanwhile Back on the dessert where he was originally dropped into Lotus was fighting a horde of skeleton enemies, and other beasts
"ugh this is really troublesome, so many of these, they weren't here before
he was holding what seemed to be the crimson sword that had mysteriously crumbled into nothingness…
