The Moonlit bids farewell

"I got some!", the voice can be heard throughout the riverbanks "oops".

Alexander smacks his hand into his head in disbelief "if you continue being carefree you wont last long here!".

Cassandra bowed and apologize she continues to pick up herbs it was in the afternoon 'strange not a single monster in sight?, is it because I'm here or....."

"S-sir Alexander!!!" Cassandra screamed at the top of her lungs, Alexander turned back and was about to warn her until he saw something.

Light blue hair and gold eyes, a boy wearing a white and gold robe was standing in front of the frightened cassandra he waved at Alexander.

"Yahooo Alexandros", he spoke in dragon tongue.

Instead of replying back Alexander rushed and grabbed the boy in the collar and raised him high.

"Leave my home", a deep tone was heard by the frightened cassandra leaving her shocked and unable to move.

The mysterious boy lifted his finger high and flicked it.

Snap.

The birds and the animals staying in that forest flew and ran there was no one left not a single soul except the three of them.

Alexander looks at Cassandra and she had passed out she was laying peacefully at the ground.

He saw this and he was enraged, Alexanders eyes were filled with malice and murderous aura "Deus you dare distort my peace we had a deal!".

The boy who was named deus began to smirk and left a small laugh "A deal?, more like a slavery contract!".

He lowered his finger and pointed it towards Alexanders chest near the heart "One word Alexandros, one word".

Alexander began to cough blood and his eyes were filled with blood, blood was gushing out of his ears, he let go of deus and fell to the ground.

"Tsk tsk tsk, you should never have done that Alexandros" he kept on laughing and kicking Alexander.

"L-lea-ve m-y home!" Alexander felt like his heart exploded thousands of times his pain was immense.

Alexander tried to regenerate countless times but to no avail.

"Alexandros you descended on man's land and protected them for years yet here you are kissing my feet"

"Deus even if you are the fragment of 'God' you will still die heed my words"

Deus grabbed Alexanders hair and pulled it "do not speak on that matter", he let go and sighed

"Ahhh your getting boring Alexandros, if that day does come let's do it 1 on 1".

"Coward"

With the gush of the wind, deus simply vanished the throbbing pain in Alexanders heart began to fade, he looked at Cassandra with worry and pity.

Few hours passed and Cassandra awoke in a burning smell, she opened her eyes and saw Alexander roasting something on the campfire.

Alexander stood and took a piece of cooked meat and tried to give it to Cassandra but she flinched and backed up.

She was still in shock on what happened just this afternoon, her stomach grumbled looking at the piece of meat.

"Want some?", he handed it over to Cassandra.

Cautiously she took the meat and eat, her heart began to understand and she asked "who was that...?".

"God"

'God? That boy?' she thought to herself wondering what relationship does a dragon and a 'God' have for them to be hostile.

"Long ago there was a dragon who roamed the realms, he was known as the protector of man, but on one bad day he learned something about the 'Gods' they were toying with people giving them diseases, plagues, Catastrophes they made them suffer".

Alexanders grip tightened, looking at the sky recalling a past experience.

"He challenged a fragment and that battle took place on this continent, the dragon and the fragment fought but a sudden phenomenon known as the eclipse happened".

"And then...?", The curious girl asked.

"He lost he couldn't do anything he was weakened, he was cursed to never be able to hold the power of the true sun".

Silence fell on the forest it was quiet the two look at each other, Cassandra's eyes were filled with pity and sadness while Alexander's had a hint of malice but sadness was seen on the dragons eyes.

"The moon looks beautiful tonight", Alexander said.

"Yeah the moon, moon.... moon gahhh", she sprung out her sit and took her basket.

It was midnight she fell asleep for too long.

"I should go home now" she said nervously.

"I'll take you home".

"Thank you...".

Alexander took on his dragon form, Cassandra was scared at first but she climbed up and rode Alexanders back.

The flight was short and didn't last long at a creek where a moon shined bright they landed.

"Is this farewell?" Cassandra said.

"Who knows time will tell, but if given the chance we will meet again".

Torches were seen in the forest, the village folks carrying spears and pitch forks were seen.

"Cassandra!!!", the village men shouted together.

"It seems that they are looking for you"

Waving his hand goodbye Alexander turned back and walk seeing as there are people nearby he can't turn into a dragon.

Cassandra sitting there on the stone creek, the moon shined bright towards her like a goddess and the two separated.

Morning came.

At the edge of the valley near the glades there was a beastfolk running around jumping in the trees and swinging vines.

"Aspen, lera" the beastfolk boy shouted.

He was accompanied by a wolf beast and griffin, they were hunting in the forest when a gushing tempest flew past him a big shadow covered the forest and he saw a dragon bright like the stars.

"Aspen" he called his griffin and rode it but the dragon was flying higher than the griffin.

He took his bow and chanted "wind oh wind bless my arrow with your great strength, Wind pierce!".

The arrow went soaring above hitting the dragon, the dragon noticed and looked down he saw the beastfolk and headed towards the plains.

The boy followed and when he went down the plains, the dragon vanished only a man with red eyes and black hair can be seen.

"Who...?".
