The Greatest Monarch

After an unexpected accident, the king of Zion went into a state of coma. The ruler should be the heart of his people but the truth was entirely different from this. The coma seemed more like a blessing for the people of Zion. They wished for this blessing to never vanish. Why? That was because if it did not vanish and if he died, the holy church would take over the kingdom and they would no longer have to serve under a trash king anymore. But after he woke up, something even better happened. The King has lost his memory, even his personality was completely rewritten. When the trash king came to know the wrong deeds he had committed earlier, it pierced into his chest like sharp arrows making him feel guilty beyond what words could explain. He decided to change the shape of his kingdom and become the strongest king ever with the help of the "system" he got! Will he be able to dominate the world? Will he be able to enjoy the luxurious life of a king? Those questions can only be answered when you read his story and dive into the world of fantasy! Note: This is a remastered novel of my previous novel. After I had to undergo surgery I could no longer write, which made people lose interest in my novel and I actually wanted to rewrite my novel too. There were many mistakes and loopholes that I wanted to fix so here I am... writing my novel once again.

Leeches

Victor could not help but smile hearing that "Then what should we do, my lord? We cannot leave leeches alone right?"

"Yep~" Andrew in instant got up from the throne and sat arrogantly on the throne "We can't let the leeches be in our kingdom for so long~" Andrew let out a small giggle before completing his sentence "We will kill the leeches~"

"!?"

Everyone in the court was stunned and shivered lightly instinctively by the words that came out of Andrew's mouth.

Victor was not sure how he should respond to that and stood still. There was complete silence in the courtroom but then suddenly one of the advisors from the silver throne stood up and broke the silence.

"You can not kill us, sire!" The advisor said nervously as he looked towards Andrew whose smirk grew even more for some reason.

"Did I once mention who I was talking about?" Andrew said looking at the advisor "Since you, yourself, have considered yourself as a leech who sucks on the economy of my kingdom I shall punish you."

"Y-You cannot... you have no proof!" Advisor yelled at Andrew in front of the whole court and made others do a head slam because they were well aware of what was waiting for the foolish advisor.

"You. Dare. To. Yell. At. His. Highness?" Victor said angrily giving the advisor a death state and with his hand aimed at him "The punishment for your disrespect is only death!"

Seeing Victor like that the advisor instantly fell on his throne and started to tremble in fear in front of the terror he was facing.

Victor started to chant a magic spell under his breath but that was interpreted once Andrew said "Do not waste your energy, Victor. Stop the spell." Victor stopped instantly as commanded and sat back on his throne angrily.

Once Victor sat down the advisor let out a sigh of relief. If Victor was to continue the spell a second more then the advisor surely would have pissed at the court right there.

"Do not breathe the air of relief Mr... whatever your name and position may be. Also even if I were to not have proof why couldn't I give you the death penalty? Have you forgotten who I am?"

Andrew said looking down at the advisor with a serious expression on his face.

The advisor looked up at Andrew's face and although he did not understand why he could not help but tremble while sitting on the throne.

"N-No..." The advisor looked down at the ground and spoke in a very low voice "I did not forget who you are, sire... I just-"

Before the advisor could finish what he was saying Andrew suddenly slammed his hand on his throne but of course, not at the gold or silver area but the cushion he was sitting on. Although the area he hit was the cushion it still made some noise.

"That's it! Victor call the guard and make this bastard get him on his knees!" Andrew yelled angrily "He disrespected me for the second time! Me the king! It's the same as treason!"

What Andrew learned from Any was that when someone had to talk to a king they must talk with him while standing. If one was to not stand it meant they did not respect the king at all.

Everyone in the court looked at Andrew in total disbelief. The change in his behavior and personality were beyond saying but even in that situation, Victor was smiling proudly.

Victor stood up and clapped his hands two times before saying "Guards! This is an order directly from the King! Get advisor Kevin down on his knees in the middle of the court."

Guards that stood out of the courtroom quickly got inside and bowed to the king before going to grab Kevin (the advisor) so they could bring him down to the lower areas and then make him kneel.

"You- how dare you mere soldiers to touch me!" Kevin tried to resist the capture but because of the fear of Victor, soldiers used their all might and forced Kevin down on his knee in front of Andrew and also tied his hand behind his back.

Once the guard's task was fulfilled they bowed once again and left without turning around to not showing their back to Andrew until they walked past the copper thrones.

"So Kevin is your name huh...?" Andrew said and smiled manically "So Kevin~ choose one or two~? one of them would give you freedom and the other one would give you A LOT of pain."

Kevin gritted his teeth and looked up at Andrew "Sire this is wrong please let me go- or... or... yes! Priest Antonio will take revenge for me!" As he said that he quickly looked to his right towards the closest golden throne to the king's throne on the right side.

On the golden throne, there sat an average bodybuild man who looked like he was in his mid-fifties and was wearing a white robe with a cross symbol made up of gold thread.

The man had short gray hair, an average look or maybe above average look because of the weird charismatic aura around him, and a face filled with some minor wrinkles under his green eyes.

The man in the white robe smiled... but the smile was weird. It was not like the wicked smile from Andrew but the aura he gave out was similar to Andrew as he spoke.

"Why would I? I am loyal to only God and my king Andrew... you disrespect sire and thus deserve the death penalty. If it was not for the promise I made in the church to not kill people, if not for self-defense I would have killed you with my own hands." The priest spoke calmly.

Andrew glanced at the "priest" with a dead serious face and clenched his fist as he thought 'This... bastard! dare to say you're loyal to me? You're the worst-'

------

Amy and Andrew conversation earlier...

------

"So Amy... among all the ministers and court members who is the worst?" Andrew asked curiously looking at Amy with an even more curious look.

"That..." Amy paused and had to give it a thought before she answered him "Would be the priest Antoine..." She looked down and spoke in a very low voice while trying to hold her anger by gripping into her dress.

Andrew's eyebrow frowned once he noticed Amy like that. That was the first time he saw her in such a state by just mentioning a man. When she mentioned others' names she acted angrily freely but this time it was like she was angry but also scared.

"What's the matter? You're with me. Just give me a deep explanation." Andrew said with a calming voice and a head pat.

Amy smiled lightly and hearing that made her a little calmer. She let go of her dress and with a sigh, she started to explain all the bad deeds of the priest.

"He is the worst... because he is the priest that represents the church so even Lord Victor cannot do anything to him. That man is the reason Lord Victor is calm or he would have replaced the whole ministry with nice people.

That man... that maid although he says he does not kill people is the reason for the death of thousands of men of Zion.

He randomly goes around... goes around doing "things" to us girls... he even humiliates many maids in front of the whole public... that bastard does not even let go of little girls...

Before marriage night that bastard forced the bride to sleep with me... and-"

The list goes on and in the end, Amy's eyes started to overflow with tears that made Andrew sigh. Andrew hugged her lightly and stopped the matter though... he knew enough.

Back to the courtroom -

------

"Is something wrong, Sire?" Antonio said, looking at Andrew while continuing to smile shamelessly.

"There are none..." Andrew replied with a smile that hid his anger "Well... there would be none soon enough." Andrew added and laid back on his throne.

"Now... this guy Kevin is only the beginning! All the leeches are will come out soon~" Andrew smiled wickedly as he said that and looked around "To die of course~"

Andrew slowly stood up and along with him, everyone did because they understood if one was to disrespect him anyhow anymore he would get a reason to kill them.

Andrew walked down the stairs and walked over to Kevin who was terrified. His only hope was the priest and since the priest abandoned him there was no way he could live.

Andrew grabbed Kevin's hair and pulled his head up "Hey~ now tell me~ One or two?" Andrew smiled and it only grew bigger at the situation.

"O-One?" Kevin answered the question scared for his life as his tears started to run through his cheeks after overflowing from his eyes.

"Tsk. Too bad... I thought of giving you a painful death-" Andrew sighed disappointedly before looking at a guard "Get me your sword."

The guard nodded and took his sword out "Here, your grace." He said and handed over the sword to Andrew.

Andrew took the sword and checked his reflection on the sword first before looking back at Kevin "You are granted a likely quick death."

Before anybody could have responded to the words of Andrew, Kevin's head was already sent flying by one slash from the sword Andrew was holding.

When Andrew cut off Kevin's head he had a dead serious face but soon when the head and the headless body dropped down to the floor Andrew smiled brightly.

"Phew~ That felt great!" Andrew said and passed the sword back to the guard who was shaking because of what he witnessed.

Everyone's eyes widened at the scene and looked at each other with doubtful faces. Some even rubbed their eyes to confirm if they were hallucinating or not.

"One down- twenty-one more to go!" Andrew said excitedly.
