SAVING A SUCCUBUS

As soon as the sword had cut in the ground,Tony threw a fist that had hit Caleb sending him off balance as he fell on the ground.Caleb stood up quickly and clang on his sword's hilt.He pulled it from the ground and swang it towards Tony's legs.

Tony quickly jumped out of the way and landed metres away from Caleb.His eyes glowed red and he now had long black nails and fangs."You want to play a disguise game?"Caleb said as he pulled his demon mask from his side and wore it."Then it's on."His appearance changed, black muscular body and a demon face.Two blade like tails from behind him.

Not only that,but Caleb was able to activate the sword's attribute skill.The blue blade began glowing bright blue and small lightning sparks filled the whole surface of the blade.Now he looked like a demon holding a giant lightning sword.

From the other side,Krad was doing his best to avoid the wild hair swings that had blades on them from Maya.

*Equip fur snake gauntlets*

The whole of his hands got covered with a bright purple light and when the light disappeared,two grey gauntlets could be see.He quickly put his hand forward and was able to hold on one of the bladed pony tails.He used his other hand as he clenched a fist and then with the short blades on his knuckles,he cut off the red pony tail.

Maya quickly jumped back and looked at her already cut pony."AAAAH!"Her eyes glowed intensely red as red aura surrounded her and covered quite a range.

Krad found it hard to locate where exactly she was.Just suddenly,a red arrow came flying at him.He had moved out of the way just in time and got scratched on his cheek.Not only that,but more blood arrows were coming towards him.

*Wind vortex*

A large vortex of wind formed infront of him and he immediately sent it towards the arrows.Just like what a normal vortex would do,the wind vortex changed all of the arrows' directions making them rotate around it as they disappeared one by one.

Krad focused on his mind as he continued to make the vortex travel towards the thick cloud of red aura. The attack was successful as Krad could hear the girl screaming before there was a red aura bust like an explosion covering the whole area.It covered the surrounding and made it hard for them to see.

After the red aura completely disappeared,Krad could see Maya lieing on the ground with blood dripping from her.She had cuts all over her body and she was not moving.

Seeing what his partner was done to, Tony was shocked as fear got the good of him."Ryan was right,even if this boy had lost to Davis yesterday, he's really strong if he was able to beat Maya."Tony thought as he had blocked the sword that was covered with thin blue lightnings with both of his bare hands, preventing the sword from cutting through his face.

The electric energy travelled inside his body as he shook like crazy and was frozen to place.Caleb pulled back his sword and prepared to swing it diagonally to finish off the enemy. Unexpectedly,Tony turned to a large muscular ferocious red beast with long black claws,red glowing eyes,large and long fangs,a bloodsucker,and turned round escaping at an amazing speed.Caleb knew that even if he was to run after the beast,he would never catch up to it.

Krad was slowly walking towards the girl with his gauntlet fists still clenched.Lenny was following him from behind with his upper jaw and lower jaw continuously clashing,giving off a chattering sound.

"Is...is she...d—dead?"Lenny asked.As he continued to follow behind while twisting his head looking at all directions.He was fearing that another attacker would appear and finish him off."God why am I in this kind of a mess."Lenny prayed."Am just a forger and not a fighter.I know those two words rhyme together with the f sounds but that doesn't mean am a fighter!"

"Would you shut up?!"Krad said.

"Okay."Lenny replied immediately and clamped his mouth with his hands staying as quiet as he could. Krad had reached Maya's position and bent down getting close to her.On looking at her wounds,they were already healing but she was yet to have full strength to stand up.

Looking at her face keenly,he could see that her lips were twitching as if she was saying something. He bent his head and his left ear was just above her lips.He could hear her mumbling."He—help me."Krad was confused,why would she be asking for his help and she just tried to kill him.*Inspect*

Now he understood,she was dying,and it would all be because of him. He looked at her as she softly closed her eyes and tears began streaming from them.Just then,a system notification that he had never seen before appeared.

"Why should I save her?"Krad thought,but he could see the tears of regret,fear,and of loss from her.He felt like he had felt something like this before,when he lost his only farther,Druid Sage and of not knowing his real parents or who he really was."Maybe I can do something for her,she looks like she isn't enjoying whatever life she's facing."*Yes*

Krad did not mind what the system said,as he tried to remember what Hellen had told him.She said that vampires would regain their strength after drinking human blood and they would heal quickly by it.'I hope mine will help since I don't think am human anymore.'.He noticed her eyes slightly opening, glistening with tears.

Krad did not know why but he just lowered himself even more to her head.Now his neck was within range of bite."Drink Maya,drink."He softly said.Maya could hear him correctly and she could even hear the blood moving inside Krad's neck.

"What are you doing Krad?"Caleb asked as he put his lightning sword in its sheath.He was confused as to why Krad was acting weird.' What's he doing?'Caleb asked Lenny but Lenny shrugged his shoulders as he was also confused.

"AAAH!"Lenny jumped back when he saw the black demon and was now trembling."Please spare my life,am innocent.In fact,I taste like an overcooked turkey,am sure you won't enjoy it.Please spare my chicken life oh demon lord!."

"Would you shut up?!Am not a demon lord idiot"Caleb removed the mask and hang it on his belt as his appearance returned to normal.

'I can feel his energy.'Maya thought as she slowly lift her head and opened her mouth that already had two fangs on each jaw.'The energy in him,is the same one I can feel inside of me,that means that he is trying to save me.Thank you...Krad,I am indebted to you.'With the only energy she currently had in her,she gently bit Krad's neck and stayed put.A single line of blood from the bite dripped down her cheek.

Caleb had his hand on the sword's hilt that was still on his back when he saw her move.' Isn't he going to hit her face?'Caleb thought of going over to the two and stomp his feet on Maya but decided to wait,he wanted to see what Krad was up to.

After some time of sucking,Maya released Krad's neck from her fangs as she layed her head back on the ground. She was thankful,and felt like Krad was a godsent.She never expected him to save her life after almost killing her.

'He is different from Ryan.'She thought as she gazed at Krad who was above her and was equally staring at her.'He doesn't mean any harm.I would better follow him than that animal.'Her strength had recollected after drinking Krad's blood.She slowly stood up with her wounds completely healed up.'Ryan would have never wasted his time to save me,he always used me in an evil way,to hurt others.But Krad,he looks like a kind and generous person,he even saved my life after fending off the attack.And that Tony bustard abandoned me.If I were to not be spared,he would have left me on my own to die.'

"Are you okay?"Krad asked as he stood opposite her."Thank you."Maya said as she had used all her speed and hugged Krad.

The other two boys watching all this were stunned in a way that they couldn't even open their mouths.'What is wrong with that bitch?'Caleb was only able to think.

"I would wish to follow you."Maya said in a sobbing voice."Am tired of these evil doings.Please let me be of your own and stop all these battles."She cried while holding on Krad tightly with her head lieing on his chest.

"I understand."Krad replied."I'll make sure to protect you from all harm.Ever since you appeared and started fighting against me,I knew you didn't mean it."

"Thank you."Maya said as she hugged him tighter and sobbed more.

"Aah,is this how the stories on novels go like?"Lenny asked Caleb who was even more shocked."I...have no idea.But something tells me that that girl is now part of our gang,and we will have to travel with her in this journey to battle against evil."Caleb said what was in his head.
