Chapter 2 - Who is Simon ?

In the city of California in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Andrew jackson is the owner of private colleges, who adopts some government colleges and sends some of his faculty members as the latter knows that his faculty members aren't capable to teach students and wants to eliminate all public institutions of intermediate college education and force students into his private institutions. However, Simon, a qualified teacher thwarts Andrew jackson's plans by making the students at University of Southern california college get first class distinction. This news enrages Andrew jackson who reprimands and challenges Simon at the school's meet to celebrate the success of the students. Andrew jackson challenges Simon to make the students secure Top ranks. Simon accepts the challenge and soon starts to prepare the students

In the past, after graduation and getting placed in IT major Google, United states of america, Simon and his friends hold a party. In a drunken stupor, he sees Yang Mi and it is love at first sight for him. Yang Mi is driving her motorcycle and as an awestruck and frozen Simon is watching her, she crashes into Simon and he is rushed to the hospital. In the hospital, he proposes to Yang mi before passing out. Simon leaves his job in United states of america to search for Yang Mi and finds out that she is studying engineering in the same college where he graduated from. While chasing her to her class, the students assume him to be a professor and he continues teaching them. The principal admits Simon as a junior lecturer as he was impressed by Simon's teaching skills. After a series of events, Yang Mi starts to fall for Simon. One day, when Yang Mi questions Simon about what is happening between them, Simon replies in the form of a love letter and impresses Yang Mi.

After this story, a crying Simon runs away from the restaurant. Rosy, curious about why they broke up, asks Michel who informs her that they broke up because of him. One day, Yang Mi sees Simon fighting some goons and asks him what happened. It is revealed that the goons had attacked Michel, hence forcing Simon to charge on them. When Yang Mi asks him whether Michel or herself is more important to him, Simon replies that his friend is important. Then Simon tries to convince Yang Mi but she brushes him off. Fed up with continuous rejection, one day Simon bursts out and informs Yang Mi that he will run away to a place where he won't see or remember her.

Rosy impressed by Simon's love story starts getting attracted to him. When Michel tells him about this, Simon says that he realized that he is still in love with Yang mi and packs up to leave for Bejing. At the railway station, Simon sees Yang mi and is shocked to learn that she is Rosy's cousin. At Rosy's house, Rosy tells Simon her love story. She loved Ricky ponting who duped her following which she fell into depression. Simon tries to talk to Yang Mi, who tells him that she misunderstood Michel and came to apologize to him but was hurt by his talk. Rosy tells Simon that she and Yang Mi are going to Shenzhen for Yang Mi's job interview to which he offers to accompany them. In Shenzhen, he gives Yang Mi confidence for her job interview. After returning to Bejing, he follows Yang Mi to Shanghai (even fighting goons for her), only to learn that Yang MI will marry Yang Yang. Yang Mi and Simon tell Rosy that the woman in Simon's love story was Yang Mi. Simon again tells them that he will run away to a place where he won't see or remember them. Rosy, who forgives Simon, tells Yang Mi to do the same and gives Simon's letter to her. Yang Mi realizes that everything he wrote in the letter was true and informs Yang Yang. Yang Yang agrees to help them reach Simon who is leaving for Shanghai. When Simon boards the train, Yang Mi, who follows the train , catches him while he gets down to drink water. Yang MI then proposes to Simon.

Simon accepted her love and married Yang Mi.

Yang Mi is very eager to get back to her parents and get their blessings. Simon and Yang Mi migrate to New Zealand and they give birth to a kid named Lee min - ho. Yang Mi, unfortunately, dies in an accident. Tom Hiddleston has a very big joint family. A few of the family members opine that inviting Simon and his kid for a marriage to happen at their place would allow getting a closer look at Lee min - ho.

When Simon visits Tom Hiddleston's place he gets mixed responses from different people in the house. Tom Hiddleston doesn't like Simon and others like him. Over some time, Simon impresses them all and when he was about to go back to New Zealand, Tom Hiddleston expresses his repentance for whatever happened and says that he is accepting Simon as his son-in-law.

Koo Hye-sun has fallen in love with Simon. She meets Simon, a widower now. She still has feelings for him. But at the same time, there is Lee Jong suk - a childhood friend of Koo Hye-sun - who is deeply in love with her. Simon returns to New Zealand. Koo Hye-sun along with lee jong suk visits Simon. During that period, Koo Hye-sun gets closer to Simon. When Simon realizes her intentions for Koo Hye-sun , he fixes Lee jong suk as her fiancée for her. Now Koo Hye-sun is about to marry Lee Jong suk .

Koo Hye-sun loves Simon, but Simon hesitates to repeat the history by marrying a girl against the wishes of her family. Just as Simon is about to leave for good with his son, Tom Hiddleston stops him from leaving and pleads with him to marry Koo Hye-sun. Also, Lee jong suk comes and pleads with Simon to marry Koo Hye-sun as he can tell that Koo Hye-sun is not happy about the marriage.

After Few Days later, Simon marries Koo Hye-sun.

Every time he thinks about his son's career. He works so hard . he spends total money to his son Lee min -ho Education. One day His friend Noticed to Simon. That, your's son Lee min -ho is loving Song hye - kyo. Lee min - ho's father learns of his behaviour from his friend. Though disappointed, he believes that children should be dealt with love and not fear. While leaving on a train, Lee min - ho's father dies in an accident. On the same day, Song hye - kyo runs away from her house to live with Lee min - ho , but Lee min - ho doesn't show up because of his father's death.
