Lou Yan didn't slack off either. When they marched to the forest, they always brought spoils. If they could not find any races to conquer, they always brought a silver-level beast to the village, while the kobolds and the goblins didn't lose out either. Even though the two races can't kill a silver-level beast, they can hunt numerous bronze-level beasts.
The goblin spoils are higher though, with Don Don being the goblin general (Don Don is the goblin leader in which Shadow knocked out).
With the effect of the breathing technique, their strength was greatly increased compared to a week ago.

The village is slowly gaining strength with the daily hunt of Glutton and the others and with sniper hunting silver-level prey sometimes coupled with the Spiritual Energy Assimilation Breathing Technique.
With the beasts daily hunt, the village got steady supplies of food, while every 3 days it was either a silver-level beast or other kobolds and goblins. The village was getting stronger and stronger.
2 months came by, Shadow, and the rest levelled up to Silver Level.
Shadow was in the research lab watching Rose and Lucy work. Today was the day that the village would have a portal.
"Village Chief, this is the orb for building the portal."
Shadow nodded and scanned the orb.
Low-Level Orb: Teleports to nearby cities

Reminder: This can only teleport to a city that has no portal defence.
Shadow was somewhat disappointed that he could only bring one person.
Shadow told the two of them to take a rest for now, and when they are ready, they can research a profession, or a mechanical profession.
Shadow then goes to the apothecary shop. He sees two ladies doing different work; those two are Doctor Mary and Mrs. Dania Ban's mother.
"How's the pill making progress, mother-in-law"
Dania laughed and said, "You don't have to call me that; just Dania will do." She charmingly smiled.
Shadow laughed too when he was searching for another potential apothecary. He asked Shelia, and the result was that the best candidate was Mrs. Dania. She was concocting medicine way before Shelia was born. She only stopped when she had kids to take care of, but when Ban's father was wounded, they saw their mother concocting medicine.
So Shadow asked if she wants to be the next apothecary of the village she happily accepted the offer and also said to Shadow that she wants a hobby and don't want to idle around the house
When Shadow escorted her to the apothecary shop, he thought they needed time to adjust to each other, but he was wrong. It seems that when two people have a common thing, they get closer. Both of them are widows and have knowledge about medicine.
"And by the way, Shadow, the new batch of Beast Pills has already been delivered to the mansion."
"Yes, 60% of the sale will go to both of you, while 40% will go to me."
Both of them nodded. Shadow proposed that the split would be 80-20, but they didn't accept. Even though Shadow reasoned to them that they were the ones making the pills, they should take at least 80% of both, but they vehemently refused. After a round of discussion, they settled on 60%.
Shadow smiled, looking at the pill on his hand. Within these 2 months, they found the spirit beast grass and replanted some of them here.
Shadow then arrived at the Smithy. Now that Bruce is a Grade 1 Blacksmith, he can now create Grade 1 weapons. He also promoted one of his apprentices into a Blacksmith.
Shadow goes to the military campground and searches for Ban.
*Swish* *Swish* *Swish* There he saw Banjo training the archers and Lou Yan fighting with the others. There he saw Ban training with a spear-wielding kobold.
"Ban, come here. I need you to go on a mission with me."
Ban nodded and came forward to Shadow.
"What is chief?"
"Were going to a city? I want you to be ready. Only you and me are going to tell your sister we are going to stay there for a while."
Ban nervously gulped but still answered, "Yes, sir."
"Okay, be ready and bring a cloak. I will be waiting at the rendezvous point."
Shadow waited at the rendezvous point. While waiting, he checked all the money he brought; he had 10,000 copper coins in total. Eligan Village (Shadow changed the village name to Chapter 13) has 3 bronze veins.
With their small population, the veins still have a lot of reserve.
A few minutes came by when Ban arrived. Because of the continuous training, Ban got slimmer and his fats wasted away. All the meats he eats are at bronze level and sometimes silver level. With the Spiritual Energy Assimilation Breathing Technique, all the meat he eats becomes energy.
Ban was draped in a cloak. "Shadow, why don't we bring Lou Yan with us?"
"This orb can only bring two people at most, so my only choice was you. After all, Lou Yan is responsible for training the soldiers."
"Ban, hold my shoulder. I'm teleporting." Ban nodded and grabbed Shadow's shoulder.
