CHAPTER 125 THE DIVERSION
With the five of them working with each other and the help of the generals by their sides, they managed to save those that were much farther away from the blast radius; unfortunately, most of the allied army soldiers were killed by the blast because of the late order of their superiors.
Shadow struggles to stand up; his body is charred, but he is rapidly recovering. As the burnt skins fall down, they are quickly replaced by new skins, and his face, which now looks horrendous because of the explosion, starts to revert to its original state.
"F*ck, the sensation of having my tissues regenerate is truly sh*tty!" He complains loudly. He is exhausted. His new partner helps him by absorbing the pure energy from the blast, but the pain increases since he obtained the energy from a foreign source.
Without their general, the remaining centaurs unanimously decided to retreat, and it is in order too; they were not escaping like headless chickens; it seems that they had already planned to retreat if the situation became dire.
Seeing this, Shadow curses inwardly. He knows that this means his calculated guess is true; this attack is just a mere diversion. The Centaurs true target is none other than the Falcon Kingdom; he needs to go there; if not, his elite soldiers will definitely be killed.
Even though he had asked the world guardians, his disciples, and his followers to assist Lou Yan, they are definitely not enough to stop the invasion. He knows this now after fighting with the Centaur commander.
He must make haste; he flies towards Ban and says, "Ban, I will leave this place to you; I must go and help Lou Yan; I was right; this attack is merely a diversion; their true target is truly the Falcon Kingdom; tell Queen Marleigh that she must not send help; even though the Centaurs have retreated, the Fox Kingdom is still not out of danger; I cannot be on two fronts at the same time!"

Currently, nearby the capital city of the Falcon Kingdom, the human army consisting of only elites has finally clashed with the Centaurs; with the help of the avatar of the world guardians, they managed to hold on.
Unfortunately, they disappeared after Shadow used [World Transformation]. Before they dispersed into nothingness, they took down hundreds of centaurs with self-destruction.
"Commander, our soldiers are getting pushed back! Our allies are unable to hold the centaurs from the other locations, causing us to bear most of the pressure of the invasion!" Reported Lou Yan's right-hand man.
"Useless! This is their kingdom, and yet they can only rely on us!" Lou Yan curses loudly. Unlike the battle in the Fox Kingdom, their situation here is much worse; after all, they do not have the assistance of the allied army.
"Senior Lou Yan, our sect has incurred heavy casualties. Permission to retreat!" Suddenly, a woman in crystal blue armour appears and asks him.
Lou Yan nods his head. He quickly says, "Hurry and tell your sect members to retreat; I will join the battle in order to give you more opportunity."
He then rides his trusted stead and charges into the battlefield. The person that he was talking with was Shadow's disciple, Scarlet. She has created a small sect of her own that focuses on many different things, but its main specialty is controlling the ice element.
