The great and powerful, Lily(rewritten)

Lilia walked down the street from her job, just like every other day, towards her one bedroom apartment, alone.

She was was actually the young miss of a prestigious family but the family hated her, why? because her mother married someone they did not deem worthy.

Even though they hate her, her mother, Sarah is the head of the family so she still should be living the life, but her mom cut her of from the inheritance for not marrying the one she arranged for her.

She was dating the person she thought was the love of her life at the time her mother brought up marriage but he ditched her the moment she lost her rights to the inheritance.

Now she uses her influence to make sure, I ,Lilia, HER DAUGHTER, will not get a decent job without doing what she wants.

Lilia walked down the bright streets of down town, through the river of pedestrians making way her way to her home.

She felt extra lonely today or at least that's what she thought the weird feeling in her gut was. She did not even take a cab today which was weird. She felt like something bad would happen when the pit in her stomach grew heavier.

How long have things felt so wrong, (I think since the day I gave up on my original dream, what was it?), she thought. (When I was young , I think i wanted to become a magician, just like her dad) but she gave up.

Just because her mom told her she would not be able to earn enough to live a stable life. That day she felt something was wrong with that statement but she could not tell what was wrong, (was the the statement what was wrong?)

She stopped before the cross walk with

crowd, waiting for the green lights signal to walk forward, but the person next to her kept on walking forward, she broke out her reminiscing and looked up in a shock it was a teenage boy, he was looking down at his phone with ear phones in his ears.

Some gasped and some people made attempts at grabbing him but everyone noticed too late.

Her mind went blank, and her body rushed forward into action without giving herself the chance to think of the consequences of her actions and she pushed him as hard as she could.

Then she while turned to her side and saw the bright headlights increasing in size by each coming second.

I lay on on the cold ground. My gaze blurry. I can hear the cries of the people around and feel my hand being held by a trembling grip.

At her last moments she blocked out surrounding chaos and continued her previous thoughts.

(ah, why did I feel so... lost.)

(That's what felt wrong. The moment I gave up on what I wanted to do, I lost my free spirit.)

(I wish, I could learn real magic...) That's the dream I had when I was young.
