I came downstairs and opened the front door as a guy stood there holding flowers.

/"Are you Paxton Gray?/" The guy asked me.

/"Yeah,/" I answered, looking at the guy funny.

/"These are for you,/" the guy said, handing me the flowers, then leaving.

/"Uh, thanks,/" I mumbled, closing the door. I pulled a card out and read it.

Payton walked into the living room. /"Who are the flowers for?/" He asked me.

/"Shaun sent me flowers,/" I said, handing the flowers to Payton and going into the kitchen.

Parker came downstairs and saw Payton holding the flowers. /"Delicate flowers,/" Parker commented.

/"Shaun sent flowers to Pax,/" Payton said as Parker looked at Payton.

It will take more than flowers to show me that Shaun is serious. I doubted Shaun for a good reason. Every time I open myself up, I get kicked in the teeth. Yeah, that won’t happen.
