After talking to Payton, I treated it like hanging out. I didn’t want to read anything into it. I went to classes and spoke to Britt, along with Parker and Selena. I figure I wouldn’t have to deal with issues.

I was walking on campus as I saw Payton sitting on a bench. He waved to me, and I walked over to him.

/"Are you sure?/" I asked him.

He shrugged as I walked over and sat down next to him. He handed me the drink, and I sipped on it as he sipped on his.

/"This makes me miss home,/" I mentioned.

/"Why?/" Payton asked.

/"I used to get these all the time,/" I answered as I smiled.
