Back to school, we go

We returned to school, and Mason asked Skylar out on a date with my cousins’ encouragement.

/"Okay, here’s your chance. Walk up to Skylar and ask her out,/" Kaxon advised, rubbing Mason’s shoulders.

/"Is that necessary?/" Pax asked.

/"Is what necessary?/" Kaxon questioned.

/"That you’re rubbing Mason’s shoulders,/" I answered.

Kaxon and Mason looked at Pax and me as we gave them a strange look. Mason smacked Kaxon’s hands away, then cracked his neck, which made us groan. I hate that sound.

/"Here I go,/" Mason said, walking towards Skylar, who was talking to someone.

We watched and took bets. Mason walked towards Skylar. He reached Skylar, and she looked at him. Mason smiled as Skylar smiled. That’s a good sign. Then Mason turned and walked back to us.

/"That was quick,/" Pax mentioned.

/"Mason said nothing,/" Kaxon huffed.
