Chapter 3

When I got home I started my research. I looked at every article there was from my school, maybe she didn't even go to my school.

"Hey'a stranger."

"AH! Mable? What the heck are you doing here?"

She looked at me with a weird face.

"Well I figured you might want....." I interrupted her.

"How did you get in here?" There was no possible way.

"Well your window was open so I just let myself in. Was that to rude, I could go to the door and knock if you would like."

"It's fine. Just i'm on the second floor, it's impossible."

"I told you, I'm a vampire." She made a face that kind of scared me.

"But anyway, I figured you would like some answers. So I just dropped by to give you want you want." She didn't look like she was in the mood for questions, but she asked.

"Okay, um, How old are you?"

"I'm 163 and counting."

"Who turned you into a vampire?" I grabbed a notepad as I asked this to write everything down so I wouldn't forget. "Also did you want to be a vampire?"

"Um, some doctor turned me because I was in danger, I don't even know where he is. And to answer your other question, kind of. I thought about it when he told me he wanted to and I wasn't sure, so I said yes, but I was also arguing with myself that I didn't because I didn't want to live forever. But here I am."

I didn't know what to say I was happy she actually told me but scared at the same time, for her and for me. She wanted this and she didn't at the same time.

"If I asked you, would you turn me into one?" I only asked her because I wanted to know what she would say.

"Yes, but you would have to be sure." She looked sad. "I wouldn't want you to make the same mistake I did." She looked like she was going to cry but vampires can't cry. Everyone knows that.

"I was just checking. I wanted to see what you would say."

"I get it. Um, I have to go so i'll see you at school. Tomorrow." I looked at her with shock as she said this. "Yes, I am now going to your school. Just a fair warning."

"Okay, See you tomorrow then." I was excited I got to see her some more. Tomorrow is going to be perfect. I hope.
