Beyond the two 'royal' couches, there was a winding stair case that led to the next floor. Wasting no time, Alex ascended them.
The second floor could be said to be the resting area. There was a hall of width of about three meters. On each side of the hall, there was a room. Currently, the stair case divided one side by half. The hall itself was well lit by several chandeliers. One could easily see the ocean blue color that was reflected on the side walls of the hall. The floor was also covered by a silky carpet just like the ones on the lower floor.
What surprised Alex the most was that in the whole floor, there were only four rooms. The master bedroom was on the opposite side of the stairs and it was directly above the meeting hall and part of the living room. The second room which was attached to the master room was occupying the area above the dining and part of the living room.
