After his voice fell, as expected, there was no reaction in the crowd. Just as he was about to continue with the engagement procedures, a voice that stunned the audience echoed in the hall.

“I don’t think that a piece of sh*t deserves such a person as a wife. So, of course, I am against this engagement!”

The hall turned eerily silent after the voice fell. Nobody could believe what was happening. After all, going against the engagement was the same as going against the two families that had arranged for the engagement to happen.
