2 What happens to me!

Alex tried to keep up while holding Ashton in his arms, noticing the surrounding started to change to look like a beautiful meadow full of flowers. Looking up ahead, a cottage came into view with other people eagerly waiting for them.

As they came to a stop in front of these group of people, a tall sturdy man quickly stepped forward and wrapped Alex and Ashton in a strong embrace, lifting them three feet off the ground.

" Hahaha," he laughed as he danced around with them in his arms. " At last we have you here!" he said. " Now the show can really start!"

" Put them down before you hurt them!" said another beautiful woman. " Last thing we need is you hurting the baby!"

" Yeah, Gourd! Don't keep Ashton all to yourself," said a petite blue haired girl as she kicked Gourd in the leg. " Let me hold him next," she said holding out her hands to grab Ashton.

" Okay everyone, I know we're excited but we still have some explaining to do. So everyone put the baby down," said a handsome blond hair man behind the petite blue haired girl.

" Okay," everyone reluctantly agreed as Gourd put Alex and his son down. Then a round table with chairs appeared with soda and snack on top. All the gods went to sit down and motion Alex to sit down with Ashton as well.

" Okay Alex, let me get us started," said the blond hair man. " I'm called Shiro, the god of creativity. You meet Celestia, the goddess of agricuture and next to her is Gourd the god of cooking. The one with the blue hair is Angela, the goddess of heartbreak and her younger sister Elsa the goddess of the Elements. You are here because we want your son!"

"Hi!" said Ashton as he waved at everyone across the table. Smiling at everyone before he tried to grab a soda off the table in front of him, not having a clue what was going on.

Alex could only stare at Shiro after that introduction of everyone. Who does an introduction like that then say they wanted his son? Whats with these crazy people saying they were gods? Did... did they die, Alex thought with his face going pale. Tears fell down his face as he continued to stare at Shiro and his vision blurred.

He couldn't protect his most important treasure after his sister death. Ashton was the son of his sister Carol and her husband Mark, who died in a car accident two years ago after Ashtons' birth. He promised he would alway protect and love him like he was his own. Now his angel was really an angel. Alex couldn't stop the wave of emotions overcoming him as he wapped his arms around Ashton, holding him tightly.

Ashton looked up at his dad and seeing the tears," You okay! Hurt, hurt," he says as he touched Alexs' face with his tiny hand. Worried that his dad got hurt and wanting to make the pain go away.

" Oh my goodness! He is so cute as he tries to comfort someone!" squeals Angela.

" Truely a child with a heart of gold!" says Gourd agreeing with Angela.

" Not just anyone can melt my heart like Ashton does!" Elsa adds in.

" Okay everyone calm down! We all know Ashton is amazing," Shiro says to all the other gods. " Right now we need to explain to Alex first! "

" Alex look at me!" Shiro asked. " Don't worry, you guys didn't die alright. We just summoned you here from your world. It was important to us that we have Ashton, and we couldn't take him without having you as well. We would never do anything to hurt him, as hes' our treasure as well."

Alex looks up at Shiro, tring to believe what was being said to him. Ashton wasn't dead, they were both still alive! He didn't lose his most important treasure to him!

Thank goodness he signs as he wipes away the tears in his eyes and hugs Ashton tightly in his arms. What would he have said to his sister and her husband if that were true, he didn't know.

" So what happens now," Alex ask Shiro after releasing Ashton. Now that the gods have them both, what happens to him. It was obvious they only wanted Ashton. Would they seperate them?

"Don't worry! We got you!" all the gods said together. With happy smiles on there faces looking at the two year old tring to grab snacks off the table.

" Alex for the next few years you have to help us gather enery from this world for Ashton!" Shiro said. " He can't go to this world yet becaues it could hurt his soul with him being young, so you will go and we will watch him for you! Just like the stories you alway read! You get to transmigrate to another world!"
