Chapter 1: Moving out

"-Llen! Allen! Allen wake up". A woman was anxiously calling him outside of his room.

The woman was Mira Williams, Allen Williams' Mother, age 40.

She was the only one who was living with him in the countryside in an unknown town for the past almost 2 decades.

She was gentle and a loving mother, as he is the only remnants his partner left for her before he was brought to his demise, while he was very young.

She was neglected and been refused to be taken care by her husband's family, even after his accident because she was being mocked and being called a 'curse' from the family members, and no one is possibly willing to take them in, even for those that had a little sympathy for them, was banned to do so as the Old Madame was purposely made the rules.

She was crying from despair while feeling lost. She already gave up. She is ready to end her suffering. Until she heard her son's cries.

"Uwaa! Uwaa!" Baby Allen cried.

She began to rethink carefully and finally a determined look was shown on her face.

"If they won't help me. I'll just do it by myself."

After she said that, she began crying again in front gate of the Wilson family while hugging her son tightly. But she was determined to take care of his beloved son.

-Back to the scene.

"Allen wake up now or the bus will leave you! It's already 7 am!" The woman was very worried as the time is ticking quickly and the bus is almost arriving soon. Allen then came out with a yawn and a tired face but he already dressed.

But he did wake up earlier, and he was already done changing with a fresh new pair of clothes, but he was too tired as he was working until 7 pm in the small field his Mother and him owned, thus he slept again.

"Good morning Mom *yawn*." Allen greeted his mother.

"Hurry up my boy, the bus is arriving soon, you need to get ready and eat." Reminded by his mother gently. "Also, here's $50, it's for your expenses from going to the city. I know this won't be enough, but I promise you, I'll make more money in the future so i can give you more". Her eyes was full of gentleness for his son. He is the only treasure she had left.

Allen only smiled with a caring look towards his mother while gently touching her face with his palm. "No Mom, this is enough. Honestly this is more than enough."

"I will be back sooner, and when I'll come back. We'll be living in luxury, with the greatest things from all around the world and you will be sitting in a throne made of many gems." Allen declared a promise with a determination in his eyes.

Mira let out a laugh as she patted his son's head. "You silly son of mine. Dreaming big is fine, but yours is way too big." The lady let out a laugh but it was clear in her eyes that she suffered enough humiliation.

-A minute passed and the bus already arrived.

*Honk! Honk*

As the bus arrived, she can already feel the loneliness and worries as what would be happening to her son in the city.

She was especially worried if her son is going to end up in jail for doing illegal

"There's your ride, go on. Take care. Don't do something dangerous and illegal after going to the city or I'll go there and beat your ass."

"Hahaha. You don't have to worry about me Mom. As for doing illegal, my mind is already set on avoiding that stuff." Allen assured his mother that he won't be doing drastic things.

Mira let out a sense of relief after being reasssured by her son. She trusts him.

"Alright you can go now, be sure to come back when you have time. And don't you dare make women cry or you'll get it from me."

Allen let out a laugh and waved his mother for the last time then walked towards the bus.

"Wait for me!" Shouted someone from afar while carrying a luggage while running, he was panting heavily, he then quickly hopped inside the bus.

Allen noticed the guy and he widened is eyes when he saw the guy that arrived.

"Where is the monkey going to?" Allen joked.

The man arrived before him is Melvin Evans, his childhood friend and also his bestfriend. They had grow up together and played together when they were kids near a riverbank in the woods. They would sometimes pick wild fruits. Their bond is close like a brother. They would always be each other's back when they fight the other kids. They often get beat up by the other kids, but they would always come up top to any fight.

"You look more than a monkey than me." Melvin retorted with a snicker.

They let out a laugh after their short banter then Allen spoke to Melvin .

"Why are you bringing your luggage. Are you going to the city too?'

"Yeah. My Mom told me that you're going to study at the city, and also asked me if i want to study with the same university as yours."

"And you agreed?" Allen asked

"Well I yeah, since I'm going to the university too."

"That's a great news then. We can just help each other if one of us needed some help. Still, two geniuses in the same university. I wonder if those other students will get jealous of our abilities. But you always get behind me in rankings because you're slow." Allen shrugged and snorted after the last sentence and it annoyed Melvin a bit.

"Shut up. You're always cheating by using underhand means by distracting me on exams."

They bantered for awhile then laughed together.

Meanwhile, back in the Williams household, a fair lady came to their house to visit. It was Melvin's mother, Aileen Evans.

Aileen too was a single mother that has been raising her son alone after the death of his husband in a bank robbery incident happened in Ocean City a decade ago.

When she got hold of the news of her husband's death from his husband's colleagues. She was utterly devastated by the news given to her. And it had been 10 years after the incident.

So when it came to experience of being a single mother. Both are the same.

When Mira needed shelter after her unfruitful journey from the Castle, Aileen was the first one to help her and gave her support.

That was also the time where they became good friends.

Mira was very grateful for what Aileen had done to her. And years later, she slowly recovered from the painful memories and started to work for her son's future

"Hello Mira!" Greeted Aileen with a smile on her face. "How are you today."

Mira too smiled back to her only friend. She is still very grateful for taking care of her and giving her sufficient sheltering until she made a new home for her to live in with her son.

"Hi Aileen! How are you!" Replied Mira happily walked towards the lady and hugged her tightly.

"Mira! Mira! You're choking me. I'm gonna die at this rate." Aileen almost choked from Mira's sudden affectionate hug.

"Oh no I'm very sorry Aileen, i did not mean to hurt you." Mira panicked and suddenly felt apologetic for what she did.

"I'm just kidding. I only teased you a bit, you're almost already 40 but you're still very panicky and gets nervous easily, that's why people pick on you because you act so adorably."

"D-don't say that, i-it's embarrassing." Mira shied away and covered her face.

"Alright alright I'll stop teasing you." Aileen finally stopped teasing her friend.

"Anyways, i talked about Melvin last night that your son, Allen, is gonna stay in the city to study. I asked him if he'd go too. His reactions did not surprise me one bit since they have grown together and it's hard to separate them. He immediately took some clothes in his closet and set his alarm clock, thought the alarm clock did not help too much so i woke him instead."

"Really? that's great, then they can work together as always

Speaking of the Castle. The castle's width should almost wrap itself around a mountain from a location in the far north and is covered with gigantic ancient trees that as tall as 350-400 meters. The mountain sizes up to 300 miles in width and 4 miles above sea level in height.

It was very far from the general public to see, so only a few people knew about it's existence. Even planes and radars cannot detect it.

It's like, something is protecting the mountain from being noticed.

But it is truly an enormous yet very well hidden Estate that only the most prominent people among the world knew about it, but in no way to discover it.

The only outsider that knew about it's existence is Mira, and that is why the Wilson Family doesn't like to support Mira because she was an outsider.

Though, far too little people knew about it, and only few scriptures of it's history were written about.

Even the legends said that the castle existed for two millennia and still standing strong.

And the castle is continuously getting bigger and bigger by the time. It's like a city in a mountain.
