"So the Supreme One finally decided to give me abilities like others but why so late?"
Thousand years before, because of the war between Gods and Demons, planets were destroyed along with the other races.
So the Supreme One, an existence above everything and everyone, felt pity and decided to give a helping hand to other races to at least hold their ground and make them able to protect themselves by giving them powers or abilities like Gods and Demons.
And when the Supreme One distributed abilities, every person of every race of every planet used these powers by making basements with various magical powers.
So, whenever a war broke out between Gods and Demons, the people would just move inside these basements.
After giving the abilities for the first time, Supreme One didn't have to give them further because the people started taking birth with new abilities of their own.
The Supreme One gave some people a strong ability and some people weak abilities.
The people with weak abilities hid themselves in basements during a fight while people with strong abilities made barriers of their own and were safe from the effects of the war.
However, Dreamer couldn't go inside in any of these basements because the people who made such basements set up a condition for entering.
The condition was, if anyone wanted to enter these basements then they had to give a portion of their magical power to the basements for making the basement stronger.
So everyone on the planet, where Dreamer lived, went into such a basement when God and Demon king were fighting, and the poor boy was left outside.
Dreamer knew about this condition set up by the people so he gave up on going to basements as he didn't have any magical power to give.
Forget about magical power, Dreamer didn't even have an ability. He didn't receive anything from the Supreme One nor did he acquire an ability from his birth.
The people around him felt pity for him. They called him a forsaken child. Kids of his age made fun of him.
He didn't retaliate against them as they were saying the truth, he sure was worthless.
He lived on the border of the city, cut off from the people living in the main city.
However after ten years, when he turned 18, he finally got his ability as an unique type system.
"Thank you, Supreme One. But why didn't you give this to me sooner, and why now? Ahngh. What am I saying? Just thankyou for giving me this ability."
Dreamer's eyes watered. He now had an ability just like others.
He couldn't stop smiling. He stared at the interface with a grin.
He kept thanking the Supreme One in his heart. He forgave him for not giving him an ability sooner. Afraid that he might lose this one.
'He isn't the one you should be thanking.' Dreamer heard a male voice.
"Huh?" Dreamer got up. "Who's there?" He shouted.
'Why are you shouting, kid? Calm down.' The Voice spoke again and this time, Dreamer knew the location of the voice.
It was coming from his head.
"Who are you? How did you get inside my head? What the hell is going on?" Dreamer spurted out various questions.
'Calm down, kid. Rest for sometime. You are still tired.' The voice spoke again.
Dreamer held his head. "What kind of ability is this? Supreme One. I need answers. Tell me th…"
Thud!
Dreamer fell on the ground and his eyes went shut on their own.
'Haah.' The voice sighed. 'I am glad he went to sleep. But, what a wimp.'
The voice went silent for a second and spoke again. 'I don't know why they chose him for the task. But well, now that I am here, I have no choice but to help. What a pain.'
The voice let out a heavy sigh again and with no choice, waited for Dreamer to wake up.

After four hours, Dreamer woke up…
