Alex was standing at the alter alive. He was alive. Without thinking or caring I yanked my arm out of Alex's father's hold and started to run forward. Tears were falling down my face. After struggling with my heels and almost falling twice, I bent over and forced them off my feet. I wiped down my dress and held it up so I could run the rest of the way to him. Was this real?
He was smiling the whole time. "Are you okay? I know you wanted to marry me that bad but you didn't have to run to me." He joked making me hug him and sob into his jacket. I felt him move the veil and raise my face up. "What's wrong baby?" He asked genuinely concerned as he wiped my tears away.
"You died. You were stabbed. " I sobbed. "Baby I'm totally fine. You just had a bad dream." He whispered trying to make me feel better. "It was real you were dying and I was useless. You died in my arms." The sobs were taking hold of me. Alex pushed me back alittle and forced me to look at him. "I'm fine. Now I need you to relax. You aren't useless." He said in a scolding tone.
After looking at him for a minute I got my bearings in tact. I looked over his shoulder at Zavier and he was standing there. He wasn't smiling but he was alive. It wasn't real. But it felt so real. What will I do if he really does get attacked. "I can't marry you." I declared loud enough for everyone to hear. It had to be done otherwise he would be weak because of me. Murmurs around the crowd started up.
" So you run to me and say you saw me die and now you are saying you can't marry me. Do I got that right?" He gritted out. His eyes looked menacing. I took a step back. "I realized you need a wife who can protect you. I'm too weak to be by your side while you rule." I stated the obvious. Everyone knew I was too weak, they just felt bad about my parents dying.
"You are not weak and even if you were I could make up for it." Alex gritted out, looking more angry. I was only looking out for him but he looked ready to attack. "I am. I couldn't even tear open your jacket. I'm.." He was pulling me forward not giving me a chance to finish. "What are." He put his hand on my mouth. "Be quiet now. You are going to tear my jacket and shirt open. You're not weak." He gritted out. This was stupid.
After I stood there for I don't know how long, I realized he was going to wait until I did it. "Fine." I said annoyed now. He didn't understand that I just watched him die even if it wasn't real. It felt real. I grabbed his Jacket and riped it with ease. This can't be. I ripped it some more but it was still easy. He was helping me. I moved my hands away. "See." He said as I rushed to rip the rest off before he could help. His whole chest was showing now.
I grabbed my dress and ripped it too. It ripped easily. "Are you done now. You just gave all our guests a show." He whispered in my ear, right as someone whistled. "Fix your clothes now." I rushed out. I didn't want anybody to look at what was mine. "You are the one that did it. You do it." He groaned out.
"Maybe we should not get married today." I decided as I looked at all the judgemental stares. "Nope we are getting married no matter what." He said as he pointed to Meridith, Who instantly rewinded time to me hugging Alex. "Now let's get married. This will be a night to remember. You running towards me and tearing off my clothes." He joked.
"You better never bring this up to our kids." I cried out. This was so embarrassing. "Kids?" He asked causing me to turn in embarrassment. I was rushing everything. Right as I was about to say I was joking he whispered in my ear. "I love the sound of that. Now let's get on with this show Tod." He ordered Tod to start the Ceremony.
After what felt like forever of me just looking at my soon to be husband's face the ceremony was basically over. "Put your rings on each other so I can start the bond." Tod demanded. He was really rude this whole ceremony. He was ordering us around the whole time. I think he was taking this alittle to seriously. As soon as our rings were on, Tod had the bond wrapping around us.
When I looked up at Alex I Got butterflies in my stomach. He was looking at me possessively and I loved it. He made me feel special and wanted all the time. He always threatened to tie me to the bed if I tried to leave him but I know he wasn't that type of possessive. He just wanted me to be his wife forever so he gave empty threats. He was perfect and now he was my husband.
