The Goddess of Time is My Wife

[WSA 2024 entry, support the story with stones and comments!] (Any depiction or semblance to real life is purely coincidental) In the metropolitan city Kata where corruption is rampant, violence is like breakfast and death is a happy ending for the uninspired overworked citizens, Andrew is stuck in his own past and he must relive his life as an eighteen year old who has just entered college. Average in looks, average in height, average in studies, barely enough money to live by, he traverses the diplomatically cunning problems that comes with entering a prestigious college, haphazardly compromising with his ethics that restricted him to a lawful life. The only thing stopping him from falling prey to the darkness of society is his innate talent to cultivate time. But what happens when his string of morality is cut due to a tragic incident? A strong and extreme desire for revenge brews, slowly, as it corrupts him to become a villain. A villain who will use all the time of the world only on himself now. ----------------------------------------------- "You're still far too weak to challenge him." The blue haired beauty looked down at Andrew. "Give up, you'll never beat him." "And if I do?" "Then I'll marry you." She laughed heartily. ---------------------------------------------- None of my works are dropped, and I'll update all of them. But! Like a particular series and want me to update it more than the others? Just let me know in the comments!

A Ruthless Killer (1)

Goto. The only thing that could revive these dead people, but it came at the cost of unturning history.

Andrew watched as all the splattered blood, brain matter, and ruptured viscus of the people around was neatly turned back in time and reattached in their original spots.

For Andrew, it wasn't a matter of saving himself that was problematic as much as it was a problem of saving everyone else.

The scene was so sickening, that it would break even the strongest of souls.

"How? I never stopped Aj." Andrew's fundamental faith in his technique was shattered in an instant by Anastasia. "It stopped by itself?"

He was supposed to encounter her tomorrow, but for some reason, Anastasia had come for him- in his past.

Andrew wasn't too sure whether Anastasia had retained her memories but that didn't really matter to him.

"No, that's not right. If she does remember me, then she can also cultivate time like me."

Anastasia's presence had become a shock for Andrew but what was concerning him even more than Anastasia's strength was his inability to fight her.

The Samay arts originally are a structural power that can tap into the force of the universe. Andrew knows that he isn't using it correctly and he must change something if he wishes to repel Anastasia's death threats.

"Stop Goto." Walking out the subway, at Dum station, he started walking back towards his home.

Then he started to walk faster.

Faster and faster until he began running.

"Kal!"

At the same time, he activated Kal at full power. His anger made him use it on everything, forcefully speeding up Earth's flow of time.

"It irritates me."

The deep crack in his conscience tugged at a darkness inside him. A slowly brewing anger consumed him as his body withered out like an old tree.

"It sickens me."

The world sped up rapidly as days and nights began to flash by in the matter of seconds in Andrew's eyes.

His mind crumbled down but he didn't stop Kal. He instead pushed the limits even further and used his Jenna to a higher degree.

"Why am I unable to keep up?"

Soon, it wasn't just days that were passing by, but entire seasons, and then the changing season cycle sped up too, and years started flashing by in moments.

"Why whenever I take one step to become better, I'm pulled back a hundred steps behind?!" He stopped running abruptly when he ran out of Jenna.

The world too randomly stopped at a point of time in the future. It was winter and the location was Andrew's house. He had finally returned home.

Finally, he had tapped into the next realm. Porshu Kal, the sixth technique, that allowed him to travel to the future.

The powerful energy of the newly opened domain refilled his empty body with vigour.

"Why do I keep making the same mistake every time!" He gripped his chest and screamed.

His heart rate was normal, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Why?!" His unfamiliar voice tore up but he didn't stop shouting.

"Andrew…?" He heard a girl's voice.

Looking ahead, he saw an old lady, with deep wrinkles on her face, grey hair, and a bent body standing on a stick. Andrew almost didn't recognize her at first glance but he soon realized that it was none other than his sister, Shana.

"Where have you been all these years?" She asked him, her voice laden with unfathomable sadness.

Andrew didn't answer her. He instead turned back around.

"This time, I'll come for you. No matter where you are. I'll find you. I'll hunt you down even if I have to search the whole world!"

"Andrew… what… are you saying?" Shana asked him again.

She tried coming closer to him with her frail legs but Andrew started running again, away from her.

"Lomba Goto!" Andrew tore into the timeline as he dashed straight to the past again.

His body zoomed straight through a warping tunnel, purple light blessing him from all sides, as he transitioned from his wintery old future to his young graceful summer days.

Halting right on the path that led to his home, he found a kind and familiar face walking towards him.

"Andrew? Where are you going?" Bella asked him.

"..." Andrew hid his anger temporarily and softened his expression for Bella.

"Hey, you've been ignoring me, haven't you? I called you-"

"My phone switched off because it ran out of charge. Ma most probably turned it on after charging it again. I'm sorry I didn't mean to ignore you, I was really tired and fell asleep again even after Shana woke me up."

"Huh- oh, uh, I see.." Bella was startled by Andrew's answer.

"So, uhm, do you want to study together?"

"Can we do it tomorrow? I promise I'll come to your house in time."

Bella wondered why Andrew didn't agree to study today, but she didn't ask him why. The way Andrew spoke too was different from usual. She knew Andrew must have had his own reasons otherwise he'd usually just laze around and procrastinate, but since he gave her a fixed date and promised too, she didn't pry further.

"And Bella." Andrew walked closer to her and patted her shoulder.

"?" She looked at him and wondered what he was about to say next.

"You look really beautiful, I love this new hairstyle."

Bella blushed instantly when Andrew complimented her out of the blue.

"Re-really?"

"Yeah." Andrew answered and then walked past her.

"Wait, you didn't tell me where you're going!"

Andrew, without answering, ran ahead, his goal was to hunt down Anastasia no matter what.

"Aj.." After running towards the ground park where he had first met her, he started searching for her from there.

The famous landmarks nearby, the busy intersection Shyam crossing, Dum station, he searched all around with the world's time paused.

"This is obviously not working, I'll have to look at a different point in time."

Andrew thought about jumping to the future again with Porshu Kal, but an ear banging crackle disturbed him just before he was about to jump.

"Awraaawww!" A huge humanoid white monster, with eight arms and three heads, tore out of the sky.

It jumped right on top of Andrew's head, but Andrew stopped it exactly at the moment the monster's legs had come close to his body.

"Or maybe…"

He then grabbed the monster's feet and climbed up.

"Goto!"

The white monster was pulled upwards, back in time, back into the distortion it came out of.

Andrew held on to its leathery white skin tightly, and gazed into the space he was entering.

Pure magnificence, an imitation of outer space, infinite twinkling stars seated on undefined pitch black.

"Whatever it takes, I'll find her this time. No matter where she is."

Bella : *blush*..
