That little stunt that Max pulled really ruined most of the game.
Although I obtained what I wanted and got closer to my dream, I lost a good opportunity to obtain some things for my men.
It was stolen from me, out of Max's foolishness. But no worries, even I had not expected that the tooth contained so much remembrance of that dead god. A remembrance that was trying to reincarnate into its host's body.
Hence the reason why it went defensive and spread the corruption on the hill. It showed the taboo to the eyes that were not meant to see it. The horror of glancing at the god was too much for a feeble mind to handle.
It makes me reconsider the part of Max in my game.
Was it the right choice to choose him?
I could have chosen anyone in this city, there were many who were much stronger without all the baggage that Max carried. And the only reason I chose him was due to how interesting he appeared. His goal matched mine to some extent.
