Chapter 30

(MC POV)

(Imperial Garden/Bucephalus)

As I get closer and closer to the garden, I feel overwhelmed by the smell of flowers and the sound of the wind rustling among the branches. The entire garden I built was paved with stone steps that I was currently walking on.

The garden was still under construction and currently had three levels. Of course, each plant had a name plate and plants from the same planets were grouped together.

The first level of the garden is dedicated to exotic flower species and carefully selected tropical plants. In the first level, the colors were mixed in stunning contrasts, from bright red to deep purple and light yellow. There were also some fountains scattered here and there to beautify the landscape.

On the second level there is a labyrinth of living bushes and recognizable trees from different parts of the universe. There can see exotic creatures that colorfully cut paths through the labyrinth, creating a special effect and evoking the feeling that the individual has stepped into a labyrinth.

The third level I am currently walking through is dedicated to fruit trees and greenery. Huge palm trees, cherries, plums and other fruit trees were adorned with their huge fruits.

In my plans I had several levels in the construction plan. The first was Level 4, where I planned to place the most fragrant flowers and exotic plants from the entire universe. Level 5 was reserved for the desert biome and countless species of cacti and other desert plants of my choosing.

Level 6 was more unique because I planned to flood the entire level with salt water to recreate the sea and ocean biome. The water would recede from time to time, exposing the rocks, and then quickly return, creating waves and tides. Along the shore of the pool, there would be seaweed, shells and coral reefs.

Level 7 would be an exclusive level because it would contain the rarest and most prized plants in my garden as well as the plants I created.

In addition to the level, I planned to add water fountains and benches for sitting along the path to beautify the scene. The garden did not contain every species, but it only contained plant species that were interesting to me. A mega garden that could contain just about any plant species was in the development phase and should be in my warehouse.

At the very beginning of the garden there are steps that lead to a large platform with a view of the entire garden. There is space for relaxation and enjoyment.

The entire defense and care garden has numerous garden guards, automated androids that are in charge of maintaining and caring for flowers and plants.

With careful movements, I go around each flower, injecting a little of my power into them with gentle touches. I'm very interested in how this will end.

My attention is drawn by a strange-looking pink fruit.

The fruit was of an alien species, different from all the others in the garden. Its roots are extremely strong and elongated, and its leaves shine with metallic colors. The best part about this plant was its delicious fruit, which was among the tastiest in the galaxy.

As soon as I saw her, I had a plan and I planned to make it happen.

I carefully approach the fruit tree and cautiously cut a part of the root, using my impeccable technique to minimally interfere with its growth and development. Each of my cuts is precise and quick, carefully cutting thick roots.

It takes me a few seconds to complete the process. The cut roots were placed in my palms, protecting it from the slightest movement that could harm it.

My next step is to slowly move through the garden, looking for the perfect spot to transplant the cut root. After a few moments, my eyes find the ideal place - an empty ground that is suitable for rapid growth and development. With one wave of my hand, I make a good hole into which I insert the root.

Before I buried the root with soil, I poured some of my energy into it. When I finish filling, all I have to do is water the ground and move away.

As I walk along the path, I look around the garden and I know that the androids with predetermined commands are doing their job well.

Taking the state of the garden, I'm kind of interested in what my stats are because I heard the sound of a new skill in my head.

"Show statistics" I say in my head and watch as the new skill appears.

[Gardening] (Passive) Lvl 69

A combination of all your knowledge and skills when it comes to gardening and plant care.]

Level 69. Did I progress that much. I just transplanted a few plants. I'm not sure that watering the plants in the garden or transplanting gives that much progress.

It's true. But it should be kept in mind that you have unlocked all the skills so far by engaging in the activities for which you have the skills.

'What. Haven't I created skills or abilities since waking up. By the way, since my level is only 69, shouldn't I have maxed out my stats in 60 million years?'

No, no skills have been created since you woke up because you don't use the gamer system much.

How will I use it when the Shop and Dungeon are locked. What should I do with such a handicapped system.

Both will be opens off when the time comes.

And you still expect me to use the system when there are so many difficulties. Would someone level 100 beat me in some skill.

Your concern, dear user, is frankly stupid. This system was built with your template in mind. Let's take fencing for example, if the user has a normal system and his level in fencing is 100 and your level is 80, you would still win taking into account the differences between gamer systems.

"What differences?" I ask the system, confused.

Your system, as mentioned, was built with your knowledge and your 60 million years of life in mind. Just as different currencies have different values. Your 69 levels in gardening would surpass someone whose level is 100 because your levels contain much more knowledge and require much more skill to acquire.

Oooh! So it is the same in the difference in the value of currencies such as the US dollar and the currency of the poorest countries in my old life, or for a simpler comparison, I need more EXP to pass a level than an ordinary person.

That.

Now I understand everything very well.

I put the system away and get out of my head.

It's time for more important things.

(Malcador POV)

He was sitting in his office, wearing his cloak with his hood in his office. His chair was, as always, very comfortable.

He opened his mouth and took several deep breaths. The polluted air he was breathing for so long could not harm him due to his physiology and his psyker abilities, but his powers did not help him in mitigating the smell of polluted air.

But now it was different.

In these last 5 millennia of miserable and poor existence, Terra was finally clean as the environmental restoration project started by his oldest friend was finally completed.

The air was clean again and suitable for breathing and for normal life.

He smiled with happiness, but one look at the last report for today took the happiness off his face and made him angry.

Another potential traitor whose a candle needs to be extinguished.

It would not be unusual if, among thousands of potential traitors, the The Court of Destiny dropped a few cases because the persons were incapable of reform.

In that case, if there is nothing incriminating that would allow the person to be removed, Assassins would be sent to eliminate the person using poison to make the death look like death from disease or even to orchestrate the suicide of the target.

But this case was different because the person was highly ranked among the nobles and among the structures of the Imperium. Only he and the Emperor could approve the elimination of high-ranking members.

The parchment with the request for elimination was on the table awaiting his approval.

He thought for dozens of minutes, weighing the options, and after a few moments, he confirmed the frame, giving permission to eliminate the traitorous nobleman.

Inserting the paper into the send box, he got up and walked to the small table where the refreshments were. He stopped and took a few sips that allowed him to think more calmly.

He went to the door and waved his hands telekinetically opening the heavy door. He had his project to finish and he had to hurry.

(A few minutes later, in the imperial laboratory)

The amount of time, resources and effort required to create an Eldar-Human hybrid was astronomical given the myriad difficulties.

In order to obtain a perfect hybridization, the process required precision and a lot of technology. The first step involved the DNA sample that had been in his possession since he had found the Aeldar corpse in the very Webway near the Imperial Palace and meticulously deconstructing it and splicing it with human DNA.

The Aeldari DNA proved to be a nightmare to work with as it had too many lethal switches that prevented genetic modification or cloning using the technology it possessed.

In order to successfully modify and hybridize the being that was in the artificial womb, he had to use elaborate and more esoteric methods.

Relying on cutting-edge technology, creating an artificial womb was difficult, but he managed to meet the requirements that the fetus required for growth, albeit barely. This intricate chamber mimicked the nurturing conditions that Aeldar embryos needed to develop. The walls were lined with state-of-the-art nanosensors, capable of monitoring and adjusting every aspect of the environment — ensuring optimal growth and development.

With the artificial womb prepared, the next step involved barely decoded Aeldar DNA and combining it with nanobots engineered to facilitate cell division and cell fusion. These microscopic machines ensured that the process of hybridization with human DNA began with the greatest possible precision.

He knew how hypocritical it was to use Abominable Intelligence, but he used more forbidden things to complete the process.

He was breaking a ton of laws in order to fulfill his role as the second highest ranking in the Imperium so this didn't bother him much even though the memories of the Cybernetic Rebellion were surfacing en masse.

He paused as horrible memories came flooding back. A few focuses buried the memories again.

He didn't need to think about the Cyber Rebellion because the memories were too familiar.

He continued walking to the capsule and remembered what he had done to guarantee the success of his project.

As the hybridized cells underwent metamorphosis, the tiny, growing embryo thrived, symbolizing the success of his project. He visited his creation once a week, monitoring its development and making sure to prevent death or deformity.

Days turned to weeks and weeks to months as the embryo matured into a fully formed hybrid.

He remembered the event that happened a few weeks ago and smiled. He was not wrong to decide to support his friend.

The information in the form of a psychic wave hit him giving him access to tons of information.

It took his brain a few slow minutes to process all the information he was given.

He turned to his friend "Is this true." he asked the golden projection "All hybrids are doomed to madness and death".

"Unfortunately, yes," said his friend, "All are condemned to mental degradation and death by their own hands as a consequence."

The depth of the river sank into his skull and he harnessed every brain cell to search for a solution.

Tens of minutes passed but nobody could find a solution. The genes were too uncontactable, the DNA was too diverse and the technology he used was too primitive.

"Is this my warning" he asked "For doing things behind your back"

"NOT!!!" exclaimed his friend of in shock and added "My friend, I know that sometimes I am too cruel and merciless, but only towards our enemies. You do not need a license to break the law if it benefits the Imperium and me as a whole.

"Then why are you here?" he asked his old friend, looking at him for an answer.

There was silence for a few moments and then his friend answered in a strong and dominant voice with traces of warmth "I am here to give you new orders as my visit to Fenris is over and I am currently in my room on Bucephalus. But now that I'm here, I'll help you with your little experiment".

And so he spent the next few hours correcting all the mistakes and entering all the corrections that his friend asked for.

He came closer to the artificial womb and looked around inside it and with one telekinetic movement he switched off the capsule.

He directed his gaze at the capsule and the moment was memorable.

The moment was unreal as the hybrid, identical in every way to the Aeldari, came to life. His eyes shone with the wisdom of the ages, and his flawless features reflected the enchanting beauty of his ancestors. Ael Wyntor looked at the world with curious eyes.

The day after that, someone's death will be declared a suicide with a total of 64 stab wounds on the body.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year (with a little delay). I can finally announce that I have finally moved into my house after a long absence (November 28, 2022 - January 7, 2023). The masters have finally finished the complete reconstruction of my house and today I finally returned home and got access to the computer again. As always, all comments, questions, reviews and power stones are welcome.
