"How can it be E tier? It's the second one," asked Levi.

"Going from F to E requires 20 levels, and you don't get any stat increase while getting there. If you have 10 somewhere, it only becomes 20 at E."

"Ah, so there's not much progress between tiers."

"You can progress the same way Syllia is, practice makes perfect. Magic and techniques aren't just something you activate, it's deeper than that."

"So how are you supposed to reach higher tiers? A-tier must be around level 80 to 100, how can you go 20 levels without increasing in strength?"

"Time, patience, and training. There are thresholds where you will 100% get a spell or technique. 

"Alright, makes sense, so at D tier you're already better than the vast majority."

"That's right, now let's focus on you, close your eyes."

Levi executed. His eyes were closed, but he had an easier time with it than the previous time.
