Slow and steady

They were slowly walking toward the clearing they were at before, taking a roundabout way to reach it.

While they walked they took a moment to eat something better than tasteless nuts.

The goal of the previous night was to avoid being found. 

Since their situation changed they didn't need measures as strict.

The fact the enemies had taken 3 different routes and all were wrong meant they had no tracker in their group. 

They should've at least taken the path they were sleeping close to, but they hadn't.

That mostly meant they were safe for now, but still, they remained vigilant.

"What should we do once we reach the clearing?" asked Helian.

"I can handle at least half of them if we can surprise them, I'll focus their frontline so you guys can't be rushed," said Lydia.
