Juliette entered her house with matted and messed up hairs. Sweating and almost limping as if she had no energy in her to take another step . Her mother saw this and immediately rushed to her aid

She pulled her in her arms and took her to the living room couch . Juliette who could not control the tears that were threatening to fall started weeping in her mother's lap she clinged to her mother and cried her heart out

She was a fool she thought, she let Joseph use her and did everything to please him hoping one day he would leave his wife behind for her but no he was not a fool to leave the diamond of the woman behind for a poor worthless bitch like her

How could he she thought now that he had broken the delusion if hers of being the most prettiest girl in the town . She thought she had nothing else to go with it. No good heart , no loyalty and most importantly no self respect

What worried her the most was the fact that she had a baby in her womb . She was worried sick how she will raise him without a father. The society will taunt her and her bastard child they will not let them live peacefully

Her mother looked at her with worry and sorry . She knew something bad has happened to her daughter but could not figure out how to help her and because of that her heart was breaking painfully. She could not do anything to lighten her daughters worries

"Come on Juliette baby please don't cry . I can't see you like this baby I can't , tell me what happened so I can fix it for you " she asked her daughter sweetly

Juliette looked at her mother and the weight of all she did was crushing her . She knew she was a bitch and do not deserve her kind parents but she could not keep it to herself she was not strong enough to do that and blurted out the truth from the beginning of the ball to the fact she was now pregnant with a child whose father could care less about them

Her mother was shocked but quickly recovered "how could you Juliette, how could you do that ?" She looked ashamed she knew her mother was disappointed in her and so will her father once her returned from work

And she started apologizing over and over . She could not think straight she was scared and was losing her mind the reality was dawning on her . She messed up , she got pregnant , she betrayed her parents , herself

She continues with the apology, her mother who could no longer bare to see her daughter made her sit up and wiped her teats gently with her thumb . She run her fingers through Juliette's long blond hair and whispered

"It's okay baby we forgive. It's going to be okay trust me we will do everything we can to help you" she told her and then she went into the kitchen to make something for Juliette. She prepared her some hot soup and called James,Juliette's younger brother

The three of them sat on the dining room sipping on the hot and steamy tomato soup , which bought Juliette so much warmth . She loved the tangy yet spicy flavor in the soup that only her mother could make

Juliette layed that night on her bed , completely shattered, numb yet angry deep down . She lated there and thought about her future which seems like a mess and prayed that she can just escape the present and skip to the time in which she will truly be happy

With that thought in her mind she drifted back to sleep and was shaken awake by her mother who shook her gently. "Come baby I have made your favorite breakfast and your father is waiting downstairs for you too"

Juliette nodded at her mother and she left . Juliette decided to take a shower and freshen up as her eyes were swollen from the whole night of crying. She took a shower and wrapped a white fluffy towel around her as she exited her bathroom

She looked at her self in the mirror while brushing her hair when suddenly a tear slipped from her eyes . She was quick to wipe it back but suddenly she felt a tremor . She felt herself spinning and felt the earth beneath her feet slipped. She gasped as she suddenly fell on the floor

But as she calmed down and looked up she went into shock . Infront of her were large skyscrapers. She felt herself go cold. The whole place was illuminating in a bluish glow . She found pictures floating in the air and recalled they were called something like holograms

She found huge TV like things on the top of some buildings . The buildings were nothing like the one she had seen not even the one on Washington came anywhere close to them . She looked around herself and people were rushing past her in hurry

No one looked at her in surprise as she was sprawled across the floor, she got up and decided to ask for help from someone so she could figure out what exactly was happening

Juliette was 90% sure she was hallucinating, she was most probably on some drugs . That could be the only explanation for the bizarre things she was seeing. She walked past some girls who were dancing in the middle of the road wearing clothes that Juliette knew were most definitely not appropriate

She saw a boy and sitting outside the wall of a small building and decided to approach him but her eyes widened as she saw he was wearing a skirt and heels , red heels!. He noticed her looking at him with judgmental eyes and walked towards her swaying his hips

"What's wrong?" He asked with concern . Juliette looked at herself and blushed furiously she was still in her

Towel . She decided to ignore that and ask the question that was bothering her

"What in the name of god are you wearing, you are a boy for God sake . How can you dress like that " she asked abashed. Boys in skirts now that was ridiculous she knew that much

"Umm welcome to 2022 you cunt" he replied rolling his eyes and twirling his short black hairs in his finger and Juliette could not deny she really liked him . But her eyes widened when she understood what he said
