The Genius Escapes

To everyone else, Lu Tao is a pitiful girl abandoned by her family at a laboratory, but what few know, is that the pitiful girl is really a runaway evil scientist being hunted by the government. "Lu Tao, you don't know what's coming at you," girl one said. "No, but I know what's coming at you," Lu Tao smiled, "and it's a bomb." Warning: The MC is not a good person, but honestly, what MC is?

Home, Sweet Home

The night air was sweet.

The girl standing by the windowsill looked around seventeen. As the open air pushed her hair back behind her, she smiled. The small backpack she held didn't look like it could carry much, and in the girl's hand it appeared light as a feather.

Finally, the girl opened her mouth.

"Bye you sons of bitches."

And then she jumped.

---

A black limousine pulled up to an abandoned house and a man stepped out. He wore a trench coat and sunglasses in order to remain unrecognizable, though he doubted anyone would recognize him out here.

"Lu Tao," the man called. His voice was deep.

"On my way," a woman yelled back.

He waited, and soon a black haired beauty walked out the door. She had black hair that swung low by her hips and determined chocolate brown eyes. She looked average, but that was what made her so special.

"You look like a murderer," she said.

"Well at least I'm being truthful to who I am," he replied, "unlike someone."

She laughed and stepped into the limousine. The man swiftly followed, and then they were on their way.

As they pulled away from the now completely deserted home, the man couldn't stop himself from commenting, "How'd you end up there?"

She smiled, "It's a secret."

Before he could ask further, he noticed a glint in her eyes and stopped himself.

He was one of the people who knew the girl best, and usually that glint didn't mean anything good.

Though he was from the capital, the man didn't look down on people from the countryside. It was cheaper and more quiet there. You could get away with anything. The capital, on the other hand, was filled with important people. You could offend anyone at any time.

It wasn't much trouble for him to deal with said people, but it was why he spent the majority of his time outside the capital.

He glanced over to the girl sitting next to him and didn't even have to consider it before deciding: she wouldn't have any problems.

Suddenly, the girl in question, spoke.

"So, where are you sending me?"

He replied promptly.

"As per request, I found a laboratory near Central High School, though I don't know why you'd want to go to the worst high school in the city. You'll be staying there with some other researchers. They haven't been notified on your identity."

She chuckled, "They wouldn't know who I was even if you told them."

"Not if I told them your accomplishments," he smirked.

She glanced towards him, "Well, what did you tell them then?"

Passing her a file, he began to tell her about her new identity.

Lu Tao would be posing as a daughter from a rich family who had been sick since birth. She was sent to the countryside to recuperate, but by the time she'd recovered her family had already forgotten her. Instead of sending her back they preferred to send her to a research center to gather prestige for her family. The story was pitiful.

Lu Tao only took a second to read over the file containing her information before praising the man.

"Detailed," she said.

After chatting a little more, Lu Tao fell asleep, and soon enough, they reached the research laboratory.
