David pulled a black tunic over his head, its fabric clinging comfortably to his shoulders. He carefully buttoned his pants, his mind replaying the events of the morning as he reached for the latch to open the door.
On the other side, the young maid stood, her face buried in her hands, the crimson flush of embarrassment still painting her cheeks. David couldn't help but smile at her awkward stance.
