Unnecessary demands

"I admire your courage, you finally decided to come see me" Elizabeth sarcastically said and crossed her legs elegantly. Besides her was a cup of hot steaming tea. The apartment was well kept it seems the cleaners were  doing their work perfectly well.

"Look mother,I-I…how are you doing?" She asked awkwardly not knowing what to say. Her relationship with her mother was already on the brink of collapsing aand with Elizabeth's pride in the way, it'd definitely collapse.

"If you're talking about me being in the little confinement you and your so-called husband gave me, then I guess I'm doing well." Blessing ignored her sarcastic remarks and tried to make other small talks.

"You're welcome to our house mother and you're invited to join us during the Christmas holidays "

"See what I'm talking about…you're telling me I'm invited? I should be staying in that mansion.!"

"Mom! We talked about this!"

"Did we?"

"Yes! You can't stay with us because…"
