Pampering her

The evening sun cast long shadows on the ground. The slanting rays of the setting sun gave a warm orange tinge to the sky. The sky was ablaze with the fire of the setting sun. Austin was done arranging the snacks for the picnic. Only when he was satisfied did he go into the house and take a quick shower and prepare a hot tub for his wife.

"Honey, wake up" he shook her slightly. Blessing who was sleeping like a baby hugged the pillow and mumbled some incoherent words.

"Come on Lala. It's time to wake up" he whispered in her ears and kissed her cheeks. 

"Just ten minutes more please" she mumbled while chewing and ended up straddling him in her arms.

"If you don't wake up now, I'm going to tickle you" at the mention of tickle she abruptly woke up. Her hair was so messy.

"You really are a monster aren't you?" She huffed when she came face to face with the person who ruined her beautiful sleep.
