Addition to the family

The sun shone brightly, the light rays dipped into the room. The early morning breeze found its way into the white painted room, slapping the curtains together. Birds chirped enthusiastically at the new dawn. The car horns could be heard in the busy streets of Paris. 

The person lying on the bed entangled with sheets groaned when the birds increased their chirping. She hauled a pillow from beneath her and put it over her head.

"Ugh! Just be quiet please." She kicked the sheets angrily. She wore a black silk, lace shorts and a matching top with thin straps. She twisted and turned.

"Jack, just close the damn curtains!" She lashed after she had removed the pillows from her head, but she was subjected to another torture. The harsh sun rays were focused on her face. With no choice but to wake up, Blessing flickered her eyes open. She opened and closed them to adjust to the light.
