“Vale, your friends are here!” Jenny’s voice rang downstairs.
“Coming!” Vale looked at her complexion on the mirror once more.
Once she was sure that there’s nothing wrong with her complexion, she finally walked out of her room.
She closed her bedroom door before she walked towards the stairs and raised her eyebrows in surprise when she saw Keith with his hands on plunged deep in his pocket, standing at the top of the stairs.
She wanted to ask him why he was still here when his hands draped itself on her waist.
Without looking at her, he guided her down the stairs carefully while the people downstairs stared in shock.
“Vava! Vava! We’ve come to visit you. George and I also prepared a gift for you.” Georgiana grabbed Vale’s thigh when she reached them.
Vale chuckled and patted the little girl’s head, “Mn. Thank you, sweetie. I’ve prepared your favourites cookies as well.”
Georgiana’s eyes gleamed with delight imagining Vava’s delicious Strawberry Cookies.
