The Gamer who traveled to Honkai: Star Rail

Pei Guang was invited by an online friend to beta test a game. The bad news? The game offers an ultra-realistic experience, where the character's skills are a patchwork of various games. The good news? All the skills were stitched together seamlessly, and the realism is incredibly high. However, what Pei Guang doesn’t know is that, in the eyes of others, he appears to be a patient who occasionally talks to himself, spouting strange game settings. March 7th: "Stop searching! Stop searching! There’s really nothing in the trash can." Himeko: "Please don't rummage through my room. These are all personal belongings." Dan Heng: "..." Stelle: "Look! I found something to eat in the trash can." Note: I own nothing, this is just a translation, hope you'll enjoy it! :D Here is the link if you want to read ahead: patreon.com/SenatusTheta

Chapter 15: Defying Martial Ethics

This aura was like that of a fierce warrior from ancient legends, returning to life to strike fear across worlds. It was as if a mythical hero had come back, wielding even the most mundane of items as if they were weapons of unmatched power!

Holding a trash bag filled with garbage, Pei Guang exuded an unparalleled aura—an invincible presence unmatched on Heaven or Earth.

Watching Pei Guang's back, March 7th couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration. But then, seeing the trash bag in his hand, she fell into contemplation. She genuinely admired Pei Guang for being able to maintain such an aura while holding a trash bag.

Soon, she understood what he intended to do with it. In fact, his plan wasn't hard to guess; it's just that the innocent March 7th had never seen anyone use such a tactic in battle before. After all, everyone has a reputation to uphold.

But Pei Guang didn't care about reputation. He considered himself a player, and as a player, why would he care about something as trivial as reputation?

The two marauders watched as Pei Guang approached, intimidated by his overwhelming aura, and dared not attack rashly. When they were only five meters apart, feeling as if a god had truly descended, the marauders instinctively retreated.

Pei Guang, holding the trash bag, gave a sinister smile, "I see this as a trial…"

He took another step forward, and the marauders instinctively took another step back. The automatic door opened, and the Antimatter Legion inside all turned to look at the doorway.

There were many enemies inside: many elite monsters, from a Trampler to multiple Eliminators. But even with all these enemies, seeing Pei Guang appear alone, they instinctively took a few steps back.

They felt an aura of overwhelming dominance from Pei Guang, akin to a warlord. It was a terrifying presence that seemed to claim supremacy over heaven and earth, as if they could hear the wails of countless lives emanating from him.

This aura kept them from making any moves. In fact, as Pei Guang advanced, they kept stepping back.

Seeing these enemies being so uncooperative, Pei Guang was somewhat surprised. After all, his plan required a lot of courage, psychological preparation, and overcoming his own disgust to carry out.

He hoped these guys would stand still rather than retreat because…

Pei Guang glanced around, feeling if his attack would cover them all. Then, he forcefully yanked off the trash bag's seal and…

"Dimensional Reduction Strike!!!"

Upon hearing this, the Antimatter Legion soldiers instinctively tried to flee. Dimensional Reduction Strike? It sounded like a terrifying attack. However, instead of a fearsome attack, fermented wet garbage of various kinds flew out.

Solid, liquid, mixtures, and even some unknown chemical substances and unidentifiable biological excrement flew out.

The garbage scattered and landed on every member of the Antimatter Legion in the room.

At that moment, the Antimatter Legion fell silent, and so did March 7th, who was peeking from behind. She quietly pulled back.

"I didn't see anything, I didn't see anything..."

She admitted, this move truly lived up to the name Dimensional Reduction Strike. If it hit her, she thought it would be terrifying.

As for Pei Guang? After throwing his projectile, he quickly raised his middle finger in a taunt, "Come at me!"

After taunting, Pei Guang turned and ran: "Nigerundayo~"

This was a tactic that could taunt even the Doomsday Beast. If it were just a simple taunt, it might not have worked against so many enemies. However, combined with the projectile attack, the Antimatter Legion members were truly furious.

This was an insult, an outright insult!

Their minds were consumed by a single thought: Kill this guy in front of them! KILL! KILL! KILL!!!

With a Distorter leading the charge, every member of the Antimatter Legion in the room rushed forward.

Meanwhile, at the end of the corridor, March 7th also heard the commotion. She peeked out again and saw a shocking scene.

With trembling hands, she took out her camera and snapped a picture of the horrifying sight before quickly pulling back. "They're coming. They're coming. Stelle, remember! No matter what, never become enemies with Pei Guang. Remember! You must remember!!!"

Stelle smirked and said with a slight smile, "He's our companion!"

March 7th nodded, "That's right, but there seem to be a lot of enemies. Which one should we attack?"

Stelle replied, "Pei Guang is great at one-on-one battles but not so good at taking on multiple opponents. Let the strongest one go through, and we'll handle as many of the others as we can."

March 7th made an "OK" gesture, and readied her bow and arrows.

Pei Guang ran, and the Antimatter Legion chased.

As he neared the intersection, Pei Guang had no intention of turning. He quickly pulled out a wooden sword and slashed at the wall. Five strikes per second—almost in the blink of an eye, the wall shattered, and he charged through the person-sized, two-person-wide opening into the room on the other side.

At the same time, as Pei Guang rushed in, the members of the Antimatter Legion followed closely behind. Without any hesitation, the Distorter crashed in and its minions charged right after it.

But they forgot one thing: the Distorter was much faster than its minions. Just as it was about to strike down Pei Guang, its minions were already lagging behind.

However, these minions, fueled by rage, charged forward one after another. From the strongest to the weakest, from the fastest to the slowest, they followed their leader, determined to cause chaos. They didn't even notice the two figures at the doorway, one holding a bat and the other aiming a bow.

The Antimatter Legion members weren't particularly strong individually, but when they coordinated, even one or two strong opponents couldn't stand a chance. Some would hold off melee enemies, while the others targeted weaker opponents with precision strikes.

If this were a head-on battle, March 7th and Stelle could win, but it wouldn't be easy.

But now, these enemies were blinded by rage, further provoked by Pei Guang's taunts. They saw nothing but Pei Guang. After all, they had fought many battles over the years, encountering plenty of evasive weaklings, but never strong opponents who ambushed them. Weaklings who ambush are not to be feared; strong fighters don't resort to ambushes. This time however, they ran into a scoundrel.

"Duang~ Duang~ Duang~"

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

There was no need to dodge; just aim for maximum damage on the enemies' bodies. Stelle took out all the charging marauders with her bat. The Eliminators behind them instinctively stopped to attack, but March 7th had already prepared her ice arrows and unleashed them with full force.

The Antimatter Legion members had never encountered such shameless tactics. Clearly capable of defeating them in a fair fight, yet resorting to an ambush? How dishonorable!

By the time the remaining enemies realized they were being ambushed and tried to defend themselves, it was already too late.

The two ambushers were going all out, Stelle's bat glowing blue as she swung it, while a concentrated barrage of ice spikes from March 7th's bow quickly wiped out the remaining enemies.

Looking at the shattered remnants of the Antimatter Legion, March 7th felt a twinge of sympathy for the enemy. "What a miserable way to go. We should be more cautious of such underhanded sneak attacks in the future."

Stelle shook her bat and said, "I've learned a new move. Anger really does make people blind and oblivious to potential dangers around them."

March 7th nodded, "Indeed, putting myself in their shoes, if someone ambushed me like this, I wouldn't have noticed any ambushes around either."

If they had noticed the ambush around them, it would have been a tough battle. Even if they hadn't noticed, groups of three or four patrolling vigilantly would have alerted other enemies.

But now? A whole group of enemies lay dead on the path they charged down. And their leader wasn't in good shape either. Pei Guang might not excel at dealing with multiple enemies, but against a single Voidranger that managed to get through, Pei Guang smiled brightly as he came to a stop.

"Here we go, buddy!"

Seeing Pei Guang stop, the Distorter realized something was wrong. It instinctively turned back and saw all its subordinates had died horribly. At the same time, two people were standing outside the hole it had made.

"Rules are meant to be broken!"

"See how awesome and wise I am!"

There was no more talking; March 7th and Stelle unleashed their full power.

This was a righteous three-on-one. The Voidranger aimed to take out March 7th first, the long-range threat. But Stelle was there in front, wielding her glowing blue bat, slamming it down with each swing. Meanwhile, Pei Guang wasn't idle either; when he wasn't looking, he launched a surprise attack from behind.

"Justice Backstab!"
