For now, I'll keep up my act as a slightly intelligent teenager and bide my time. From the way the midget jerked around, taking strange postures and prattled, I'd instantly tell that something was missing inside his brain. Or maybe, it was just empty?

Freed's face twisted towards Ikumi; his eyes were crazy. "You… what do you call me?" By the looks of it, Ikumi hit his sore spot.

"What else would I call you if not a midget, you midget? Even I'm taller than you," Ikumi activated her protagonist power and bashed the villain verbally, and it was effective, believe it or not.

However, before Freed could erupt from anger, Momo Hanakai suddenly shows up behind us, and after seeing an exorcist, she tenses. I'm only one somewhat familiar with her among the people here, so she asks me, "What's going on?"

I shrug. "That priest went insane."

"Hey, you! No slandering! I'll take care of you later," he shrieks toward me before looking at Momo.

"Well, well. If it isn't a Devil? How wonderful! How truly wonderful!" Freed starts politely, introducing himself. His sudden change even took me by surprise. "My name is Freed Zelzan. A young priest from a certain exorcist organization!"

Momo looks at him blankly, like trying to figure out just what kind of dumbass she stumbled upon? Ignoring him, she glances at the house, frowning moments later. She could easily figure out the intense smell of blood wafting out of the house with her heightened Devil sense.

"Did you kill them?" Momo asks Freed directly.

"They were no longer human after getting ensnared by Devil's charm. So I killed them. Don't worry, I gave them a painless death by chopping them 69 pieces," Freed admits with his hand behind his back.

"He killed someone?!" Ikumi was taken aback. She is just an ordinary girl right now. It must be shocking.

"Priest-Sama, did you kill humans? God will never forgive such an act." Asia goes on to her naive rambling.

"Silence! They were no longer human! Heretics! They were heretics! Defending them brands you as heretic as well! I'll take of you later too!" He takes us by surprise again by suddenly brandishing a light sword and pistol out of nowhere. Aiming it at Momo, he proclaims boldly, "And as an exorcist, of course, I'd eliminate a Devil such as yourself! I'll use this sword to pierce your heart and then score a lovely headshot with my fabulous gun!"

The guy has ambitions, I must say. In any case, this is troublesome. If I act and kill him, it'll bring nothing but trouble with the things he's carrying around. Excaliburs are good but not worth the trouble. Even that Kukubell guy might arrive sooner than expected due to this event. Tch, Momo isn't strong enough to defeat him. If he's defeated, then I'll be the prime suspect. And Kukubell will surely come to find me. The best way to deal with him is to dump everything onto Rias or Sona's head. Or just let him escape.

"Can you call for reinforcements? He's powerful than he looks." I say to Momo, who is momentarily surprised.

"No need for reinforcements. I can take care of him." A frown immediately appears on her face, probably because she thinks I'm underestimating her or something. Don't tell a teen Devil to call for reinforcements before a fight in the future. Got it.

"Ready or not, here I come!" Freed jumps towards Momo, swinging his light sword, and the fight begins.

Standing on the side, I hold Ikumi's collar and smile at inarguably flustered Asia as I call Sanju. She picks it up after a couple of rings.

Sanju – Hey, Levi, it's rare for you to call me. What is it? Evening booty call?

Levi – Sounds interesting, but no. Where are you right now?

Sanju – At the Student Council room, what's up?

Levi – Is Sona there?

Sanju – She is, although a little sullen that you didn't accept her invitation today
