Quests and The World.
When Alex gained consciousness he saw that he was on an unknown bed. Then it hit him that he was in Pokémon Fire Red in Red's body. He looked around the room and saw that old TV, an old computer a book shelf with a lot of books, a bathroom and a stair case going to the ground floor.
He suddenly had a mild headache and a lot of memories started filling his head. Luckily he had the Gamer's Mind and could tolerate this level of pain.
He skimmed through the memories and was fascinated by what he got to knew. This world was very different than the anime .You could only receive your starter Pokémon if you had enough knowledge about Pokémon and are of 18 years of age.
He also got to know that this world is a lot crueler than the anime one. Team Rocket was also a serious threat in this world. One thing that caused Alex to sigh in relief was that Pokémon does not die in Pokémon battles, they just faint. There may be Pokémon deaths in the wild but a person killing a Pokémon, if caught, is straight put to jail.
According to Red's memories he already had a degree and he only needed to be 18 to get a starter. Alex decided to reel in his thoughts and started to think about the future.
Alex-" System did I receive a starter pack?"
[ Player has received a starter pack. It contains:-
1:-Best training methods for Pokémon of every type.
2:- Food recipes for Pokémon of every nature.
3:- One Master Ball.
4:- 100,000 Poké dollars.
5:- Mysterious Pseudo Legendary Egg.]
[ Player has also received quests from The One:-
Main Quest#1 :- "Gotta Catch 'em all."
Complete both the Kanto and the National pokedex provided by Professor Oak and complete his Pokémon research.
Main Quest#2 :- "Blast Off."
Defeat all of Team Rockets schemes and stop their Tyranny. Additional bonus in rewards if Giovanni is caught.
Main Quest #3 :- "Hall Of Fame."
Win the Indigo league and become the champion.
Player will also be given emergency quests if the situation demands it.
Player will also be given Poké Dollars for every enemy you defeat. Also Player will get coins according the difficulty of the battle you are in.]
Alex-" Well so all the basic missions of the game are here huh? Also this knowledge can be very helpful as I don't know anything about Pokémon except from what I learned from games and internet. The Master Ball will be very helpful too to complete the first Quest. I wonder what is the Pokémon that I will gain from the egg. I hope it's not a bad pseudo legendary."
Alex woke up from his bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. As he looked in the mirror in the bathroom he saw a somewhat handsome face with messy black hair and black eyes.
He really looked like Red from the manga. After freshening up he went to look around the room
searching for an accessory important for every Pokémon main character that is an iconic hat. After putting on his hat, he went downstairs to meet his 'mom'. He always wondered what was the name of Red's mom as it was never told in either the games or the anime but after getting Red's memories he got to know that her name is Mary.
As he walked down the stairs he saw an ordinary living room, a dining room and a kitchen. The living room had sofas a T.V and some chairs in it with a bookshelf with a ton of books. The dining room was attached to the living room and kitchen had a separate space. There he saw someone who was known but unknown and he had some warm feelings in his heart. There he saw his 'mom' Mary cooking breakfast for him.
Alex-" Good Morning mom."
Mary-" Good Morning Red. Did you sleep well?"
Alex-" Yes Mom. Thanks for the breakfast."
Alex didn't really know how to respond to his 'mom' as even though he has Red's memories he couldn't just copy Red's behavior from the get go. So he silently ate his breakfast and went outside the door, taking his first steps towards his first adventure in a different world.
