—[Chapter 6]—

We ran and ran till I saw that the others couldn't anymore and so I decided to stop them.

" Wait!" I shouted causing the others to stop before I looked around myself trying to find anything out of place but didn't.

" Let's camp out here tonight." I told them gaining varying amounts of reactions.

" What! Are you crazy, with whatever the fuck just attacked us you want to camp out here?!" Was Finn's reply.

" Look, I know you're scared and I am too." No l wasn't, gamers mind for the win." But exhausting ourselves won't do us any good, the sun is going down and we won't see in the dark and we need to rest."

" So let's keep running and get to camp!" Said Jasper clearly exhausted alongside the others.

" With our conditions and the sun already setting that won't happen, who knows what's out there waiting to pick us out one by one, listen, I can sense everything within a half mile radius as long as there are trees and other plant life around me so we'll be fine." I said and that was actually true on the sensing part, it was a new thing probably granted by my level up to the skill.

" If Darius thinks thats for the best, I think we should listen to him." Clarke said making Finn pipe down even if he didn't like it, the other boys simply resigned and sat down breathing in as deeply as possible.

" I'll keep watch while you guys rest, I'll wake you up at first light break." I told them.

" Are we supposed to just sleep here in the open?" Asked Monty.

" No....let's go there." I said pointing to a couple of fallen trees in the distance.

Earning nods from them we walked off towards them.

" Okay let me just make us some walls...." I said holding out my hand and watched as plants grew in an orderly fashion tying themselves up and connecting to each other to the fallen trees growing into a makeshift tent.

I built two tents, one big enough for all the boys and one big enough for the two girls.

" I'm gonna go get us something to eat, I won't be too far." I muttered.

" Wait, you can't go out there alone, what if that thing finds you?" Clarke said grabbing me by the shoulder.

" She's right, you can't possibly go there alone, it's not safe." Octavia spoke up too.

" Don't worry, I won't be too far, there's a couple of rabbits not that far away from here and plus the entire half mile radius of this place is under my sense so I won't be ambushed and I'll run back as soon as possible if something comes towards you so don't worry." I told them and theb after a couple more words and me telling them not to worry I nodded at them and walked away.

I walked for a couple before finally getting to where I wanted to be, not far away was a family of rabbits munching on grass.

The rabbits were big for rabbits and had black fur and purple eyes.

' Fucking alternate universe...' I thought before overlooking my status and skills that had leveled up again.

I added 8 into Agility and the rest into Vitality just because I didn't like how slow I was compared to how strong I was.

After that I looked at my skills.

I contemplated dumping the stats into [Eater's Glory] again but abstained and after some consideration I dumped them into [Crafting] instead.

This caused for me to suddenly know a fuckton of new information and knowledge, craft was an amalgamation skill in the fact that it covered all types of crafting or making like cooking, woodworking, metalworking, Knitting, Sewing Etc.

So this dump into the skill caused for all these fields to suddenly be mastered and comprehended in my head instantly to the level of my skill.

' Okay now that is done....' Looking at the rabbits munching on the grass I simply twitched my index finger and watched as the plants and grass around the rabbits turned on them.

The plants, roots and stems suddenly latched on to them and squeezed incredibly hard and snapped their necks, bones and such killing them immediately.

Nodding at that and also noticing that my level up percentage increased from 60% to 94%.

And so I spent the next couple of minutes searching with my senses of nature around for any more life signs and found 3 more shadow rabbits and killed them.

And so I leveled up again.

I did the very same thing again, I put the 5 Stats into Vitality, the 10 Skill points into Crafting.

I needed to know how to craft a plethora of things for the others which would be of great help.

And so after that I returned to the relieved sighs of the others, especially the girls.

After rubbing dry pieces of wood together to make a fire and using a sharpened wooden stick to skin and butcher the rabbits I started cooking them for the others.

I used some plants I had picked from the wild as rudimentary spices and added them to the mix of roasted meat.

But while doing so I collected the 10 hearts and when the others weren't looking or simply chatting amongst themselves I ate them.

They were disgusting at first, salty and bloody but after the third I got accustomed to it and gulped them all down and in return I obtained.

And just like that I suddenly found myself understandind and knowing of various factors in concealing ones presence besides the normal.

' Wow...' I thought not ignoring the sudden burst of energy and vitality that coursed through my veins.

' If I gained such explosive gains from simple rabbits...what would I gain from the two bodies and deer I have.' I thought suddenly impatient wanting to butcher and eat the hearts of the two humans that I had.

But reigning in that feeling I focused back on myself, on my status and skills.
