"What do you think you are doing?"
In the heart of the chaos, sprawled on the floor was Anya Dove.
Her sky-blue hair, usually meticulously braided, was a mess of loose strands framing her pale face.
Anya, known for her quiet demeanor, was trembling like a leaf caught in a sudden storm. My heart ached for her.
Towering over her was Aren Blackstar, the very embodiment of arrogance.
His obsidian hair and eyes seemed to mock Anya's state.
The boy briefly looked at me without saying a word, scanning my face, which made me feel disgusted.
"She started it first, I was only acting in self-defense,"
Aren declared, his voice dripping with a feigned sincerity that made by head throb in anger.
'Self-defense?'
'Really?'
The thought echoed in my mind, laced with bitter disbelief.
I clenched my teeth, recalling the events of just a few minutes prior.
I had asked Anya to run a small errand for me and meet me back in class.
However, upon seeing her books scattered on the floor and her sprawled on it, I quickly pieced together the cause of the situation.
"Aren Blackstar..."
I muttered, recalling what he had done two weeks prior.
I remembered meeting Anya, as her mother worked as a maid in the Lunari mansion.
It didn't seem like she was a newly appointed maid, but I didn't mind her presence, as it didn't bother me.
However, I soon discovered that Aren had come over to my mansion, supposedly to 'strengthen' the relationship between us, due to the engagement between the Blackstar and my family.
This engagement was crucial for the benefits of our family, so I had no choice but to welcome him.
During his visit, Aren had acted like he owned the world, harassing the maids and butlers who served under him.
Not only that, but even my maids weren't safe around him, as I could tell they did everything to avoid him.
I couldn't blame them, though. When we were seated in the guestroom, he made lewd remarks about me and my body, flirting with anyone he saw as a woman.
I couldn't bear his remarks and swiftly left the room, as I couldn't trust myself not to do anything to him.
When I returned, I saw him on top of the very girl I had seen on the mansion, with tears in her eyes, and he was laughing at her.
My mind went cold and numb, and I prepared a magic circle to completely freeze him and take him out.
But before I could, his little sister Ayla Blackstar burst into the room and immediately saved Anya by blowing him away with her wind magic.
I was so angry that I couldn't remember how the following days passed.
Somehow, the story changed, shifting from Anya to me also being the victim.
When my father heard about it, he cut all ties with the Blackstar family without hesitation and even annulled the engagement contract, which was a trap in the first place, and we had to give one-third of our lands away to the Blackstar family.

"Could you let go of my hands?"
I asked, politely, as I stared at the one who held my wrists.
It was Sylvia, my now ex-fiancée, who had spoken such words and stopped me from hitting Anya.
She stood there with her beautiful shiny blonde hair and golden eyes, wearing the standard institute uniform like Anya, but hers seemed more expensive and bore the crest of her house.
I couldn't believe what was happening!
Just a moment ago, I was on my way to class, and now suddenly, I was face to face with not one but two named characters.
'Just where did it go wrong?'
I asked myself as I looked at Sylvia, her expression unreadable.
I knew I had to say something, but I didn't know what, as I couldn't seem to break free from her grasp.
I could also feel the temperature in my grasped hand plummeting, reminding me of a scene from the game when she froze the entire arena during a sparring session with Arthur.
"Let go," I said again, this time with more urgency and internal panic, as I still couldn't break free from her grasp.
'Just what's with everyone's strength here?'
'They are literal kids, KIDS!!'
I couldn't help but feel like a vegetable, as it seemed normal for everyone to overpower me easily.
"S-Sylvia, stop! I was in the wrong here!"
Suddenly and finally, Anya spoke up.
I took the moment where Sylvia was momentarily surprised upon hearing Anya deny my being in the wrong here and yanked away my wrist from her grasp.
'Ouch.' I cursed inwardly as I rubbed my cold wrists, it'll no doubt leave her hand print there.
Sylvia looked at Anya, surprised, and then glared back at me.
"Anya, are you sure? He isn't threatening you now, is he?"
"N-No, I was the one who bumped into him. I wasn't looking ahead because I had your books, and I thought I would be late, and I rushed, so..."
Anya fiddled her fingers, avoiding eye contact, and was clearly very sorry about how everything went down.
She didn't stop there and started to apologize to me.
"U-um, Sir Aren? I-I am sorry, I shouldn't have used my magic against you. I-I got scared because..."
She trailed off as if she began to recall a memory involving me.
'Because?'
'what? don't tell me...'
This to me was not good news at all, because not only did it confirm that we had met before and were not in good terms, but it also made me wonder about my past.
'I don't remember anything. Heck, I don't have any memories before inhabiting this body.
Oh no.. don't tell me....
'This is bad, really bad...'
Shit.....
'What was my past like?'
'What did I do in my past?'
'How many enemies did I make?'
The more I thought about it, the more I felt the blood drain from my face.
"You don't need to apologize to anyone Anya, after al-"
"Move you are blocking my way.." I interrupted Sylvia and moved past her.
"Wh-What? Hey!"
I ignored Sylvia as I headed towards class A.
My head was beginning to throb.
'Huh seriously? Give me a break please...'

I stood at the entrance to class A, the same class room where the protagonist and his party stayed in the game.
As I walked inside the class and it did not resemble a normal classroom at all, it looked more like a lecture hall.
The seats in each rows were higher up, the further back you went.
The class was pretty much empty with only few students here and there.
I quietly took a seat at the very last row and in a corner, this'll allow me to pretty much observe anyone given the height increase the further back you went.
I sat down and forcefully kept a straight face as I clenched my teeth hard and Not only that but my head was pulsating like crazy.
If what I think is true, than the past will haunt me, even if it wasn't 'me' who did it.
What if someone claims I did 'X,' and now they were here for revenge or something?
Do I have to take responsibility for something I don't know or didn't do?
How do I explain it to them, that it wasn't me who did whatever they thought I did?
'I should probably tell them I hit my head and have amnesia or something..'
"....."
Nah, I am cooked, this guy.....
Aren Blackstar, as far as I know from the game, every high ranking nobles knew of each other basically from a very young age due to social gathering, parties and what not.
Those said high ranking nobles, a lot of them are characters be it villains, support characters or main characters.
'This is bullshit I really am alone here aren't I?'
—Slam!
"Okay everyone's here in class."
A loud bang on a desk shook me out of thought, I looked around to see the class was already filled with students.
I than looked ahead...
'Tsk, it's that teacher from the game.... What was her name again?'
