29: A great heroin has fallen

Kel and the rest come back home only to find the ladies so tensed and worried. Salma looks around but does not see her Daughter so asks Kel about it," Kel my son,where is Mable? you said you were going to bring her back home but I don't see her anywhere where is she?"

Kel is afraid of telling Salma the truth so he tells her,Mable is at the police but she would be back. Unfortunately for him,Salma sees blood on his hands and shirt," but why do you have blood on your shirt?"

Kel looks at his shirt,see the blood and fails to hold in his tears so he starts to cry. Salma confirms her suspicion, she goes to Riswan and asks him for the truth,he tells her Mable is dead and she goes on her knees with unbelief and starts to cry. Tony and Mirabel help her up to her room as she continuously expresses her surprise, " its not possible my daughter is a warrior, lioness and she doesn't lose...do you remember how many times she fought battles and came home undefeated so how come? "

Tony gives Salma some sleeping pills so she could rest a bit. They both go downstairs to help in the funeral arrangements. Some time later, family, friends and villagers come to the funeral. Salma wakes up and Mirabel helps her downstairs. The preacher conducts a prayer and asks the family members to step forward and say something one at a time. Riswan steps forward, " I never liked my daughter, I wanted to kill her the moment she was born,little did I know that she would be my savior, she has proved that indeed women are strong and courageous even within, today I... ha-a-ve no words to-to tell everyone how sad I am"

Mirabel steps forward, " my heart is heavy because I have lost the only nice I had,when her father told her she couldn't marry Kel,she came to me,put her head on my laps and complained, I wish oh I wish she would do that one last time"

Anjali and Mark step forward," we've only known her for a year and it feels like we knew her our entire lifetime she was a kind hearted young woman "

Mira steps forward, " we met at kindergarten, we fought criminals and bullies together and a week ago she bought us lockets...I guess she knew what was going to happen.. I love you my best friend, who am I going to scold,who am I going to tease...if I could turn back the hands of time...I would hug you tightly"

Tony comes forward, " I have lost a sister, she was so young and she wanted to go to school,until her dream came true,my naughty baby sister is gone"

Tony's wife thanks Mable for how she accepted her as a sister.

Salma is speechless so is Kel as they say nothing until Mable's corpse it taken to the graveyard. When she is buried, Kel throws himself on her grave and starts crying, " why did you leave me all alone my love, how could you forget what we promised each other,we were supposed to grow old together, you have cheated on me,you have left me to raise our daughter alone,how could you "

Mark and Ray help Kel up and console him. Mable is finally put to rest and everyone goes to their respective places.
