The Fugitive Princess

WARNING: MATURE CONTENT! Aria's POV The world had given nothing but cruelty to me. Being a princess might sound a good idea, but trust me, it's not. I grew up living in fear of myself, a discovery of what I might be. A discovery that costed the absence of my mother in my childhood. Instead, my father, a cold hearted man, raised me. I thought he hated me but he was trying to protect me from the same cruel world that snatched his wife. And then he came into my life, a guiding light in the darkness. A missing puzzle that made me complete. Leon, my personal knight! If he was an angel or a devil in disguise, that, I didn't know! ***** Other books by the author The Assassin's Redemption: A Princess's Journey To Forgiveness Cover is originally mine

After taking a quick bath, Aria slid into one of her pants that accentuated well with her curves. She wore a matching leather jacket and let her black hair fall down in waves. She was going to war after all, and wearing a dress was not advisable. She glanced at herself one last time in the mirror before she stepped out of the room.

"What took you… so long?" Leon asked as his eyes swept to her figure from head to toe. His face was laced with what looked like surprise and admiration. "You look… stunning," he added. The last word came out barely as a whisper and he could see the blushing machine's cheeks heat up already.

Aria walked past Leon with her head low. She didn't want to give him the satisfaction he needed. "We need to keep going," she said and brushed past him with that wicked smile on her face.
