Aria pushed Leon before a resounding slap landed across his face. Her fingers leaves a print and his face turned a bit paler. She felt somehow guilty but he deserved it!

"How could you?" She asked, her hand clenched into a fist.

Leon however smiled sheepishly while his tongue traced the blood that had formed in his mouth.

"You can do better than that," he said, fueling Aria's anger to unseen heights. And before she knew it, she raised her hand to strike him but he caught it mid air and pinned her on the table, completely restricting her access.

His eyes settled into her blue ones, and for a fleeting seconds, they just stayed in that position.

"I'm sorry about what happened to your father," Leon started once the ice in her melted. "I admit I'm at fault." He let go of her and picked his glass of wine.
