Dean:

I quickly walk over to Mr. Patrick. He is waiting patiently next to the door with his arms crossed. He has a pleased smile on his face.

" Did you think I would forget about our conversation yesterday? "

I just scoff at him as I walk past him and start heading down the stairwell. I didn't think you would forget, but my ability has been acting weird recently. It hasn't been removing people's memories like usual, but more and more people are remembering who I am.

It all started with that man in the forest. I still haven't checked if he can remember me or not. I need to head to that park after I get scolded by the Dean.

I walk down one more step before I hop off the stairs. I look behind me and see Patrick slowly following me. He looks at me confused before he talks.

" What are you waiting for? Why have you stopped walking? "

" I don't know where Dean is, so please hurry up and stop wasting my time. "

His eyes bulge out in anger as he quickly walks down the stairs and grabs onto my right shoulder. He grips down my shirt and starts to pull me left. We're walking through a massive hallway.

There are two classrooms on my right and left. The bored students watch us through the windows with confused looks.

Looks like I am creating quite a scene. We walk for countless minutes taking a handful of left and right turns until we reach a massive wooden door.

Patrick lets go of my shoulder, and walks over to the door, before lightly knocking on the door and yelling out,

"It's Patrick. May I come in? I need a student to be disciplined. "

Patrick waits patiently until a feminine voice yells out.

" It better be important. You know I don't like my time wasted, "

The massive wooden creaks open as Patrick looks back at me angrily. He quickly gestures for me to follow him.

We both walk through the door, and a massive library comes into my view. I look around and see enormous bookshelves spiraling around a single small desk and chair.

A woman in her mid-thirties with black hair that hangs down to her shoulders is sitting on a chair with brownish-red cushions. She's wearing a red blouse and a black skirt. She stares at me with an interested expression.

She gestures for me to sit down in an old wooden chair. Patrick stops walking as I walk past him and sit down.

She leans forward placing her chin on her palm. She stares at me before she speaks.

" So why exactly are you here? I always hear from students before I ask the teacher, "

" I'm pretty sure it's because I called Mr Patrick Baldy,"

I watch as a grin appears on her face before she lets go of her chin and leans back into her chair. This is the first time I have ever met the Dean, but from the rumors I have heard, she is almost exactly like Patrick when it comes to respect.

She looks over my head and stares at Patrick before she starts chuckling,

" I mean, He isn't lying Patrick, besides I like the nickname, Baldy, "

She says holding onto her stomach laughing wildly,

She isn't like rumors at all, She seems more childish than mature, the sound of footsteps enters my ears as Patrick walks towards me before stopping right next to me,

" Even though he didn't call me Baldy, the main reason I took him to you, is because he skipped yesterday, and if it was a one-time thing, I would have let it slide but he hasn't been to a single class for the past three months. "

The Dean's expression went from childish to serious in a split second. She looked at me before speaking.

" Is this true David? "

" He is telling the truth. I haven't been to a class since school started, "

You figured my homeroom teacher would have reported me not showing up to class, but I guess this is breaking news for the Dean. She stares at me before she sighs and stands up out of her chair.

" Young man you need to go to your class before the government gets involved. Do you at least have a good reason for not showing up to class? "

She is probably talking about that assassin the government sent after me. I guess that's the government getting involved. I leaned back further in my chair before I spoke.

" The main reason I haven't shown up to class is due to my ability. My ability makes everyone forget who I am. I'm sure you have my ability listed in your databooks somewhere. "

When I first arrived at this school when I turned 14, they forced me to tell them my ability, so they should have written my ability down, but even with them writing it down, they still forgot about me.

The Dean's face turned confused until she suddenly snapped her fingers as a tall metal filing cabinet abruptly appeared next to her. She slid open one of the drawers before pulling out a brown file with my name on it.

She opens the file and sits back down, her eyes scan down the file, she is reading something, her eyes stop moving as she closes the file and places it on the desk in front of me.

" You're telling the truth, I must apologize for forgetting you. Can you explain how your ability works in detail please? "

" My ability makes everyone forget me exactly after 24 hours, except for some reason the baldy next to me remembers me, "

I stare at the Dean until a deep voice next to me speaks.

" So it's probably a leeching type huh? "

Said Patrick holding onto his chin thinking to himself, Leeching type? What does he mean? I stare at him with a confused expression until the Dean suddenly speaks to me.

" There are three types of abilities in this word, Pulsating, Leeching, and Energaic. Pulsating means your ability comes from your pulse, Leeching means your ability affects people over a period of time, and Energaic means your ability comes from your soul.

If you went to your classes this would have been explained to you, David "

If my ability is a Leeching type, that must mean my energy invades the person I'm talking to's mind and slowly erases their memories over 24 hours.

Silence engulfs the room as the Dean and Patrick think to themselves until suddenly the Dean's eyes widen as she looks up and talks.

" You said that Patrick remembered you 24 hours after meeting you. Did anything happen before or after you met him? "

" The only thing of interest is that I met a man in a forest named Null after I talked to Patrick. "

As soon as I said this, The Dean instantly stood up out of her chair with a shocked look on her face. The file on the desk flew off with the sudden movement.

" You met Null, where exactly did you see him? He's one of the most wanted criminals in this city. "

I look at her with widening eyes...
