Chapter 148 The Battle Begins!
Charmon's Kingdom: Leftwing Hallway
Staring at each other intensely as no more words are exchanged between the two fearless swordsmen in the dark quiet hall. Moving first with a swift first step as he dashes at Mezo with Lazer vision, seeing Vic Move quickly as he stands stoned footed to the floor with no emotion on his face, thinking to himself as he eyes Vic Nearing him, Mezo says, show me your skills without a blade Mr. Balman, let me see if you truly are a true warrior.
Now upon Mezo as he leaps slightly off the cold and dark hall floor, extending out his right leg with power oozing from his now even colder blue eyes, Vic fires off a machine gun filled flurry of strong kicks at Mezo. Staring at Vic as he maneuvers his thick neck, dodging every single one with ease as he still keeps a fixed voided gaze at Vic, changing tactics in one flashy motion, Vic goes into throwing a wind cutting left strike with his fist targeted at Mezo's mid-section, with his right eyebrow raised at feeling the killing intent behind the punch, Mezo actually avoids the blow by shifting his big body to the right, dodging the strike at the last second.
Finally going on the offensive as he moves in close to Vic, crouching slightly as he gets into a grappler type stance, reaching out with his long muscular arms, Mezo goes in a grabs Vic by his right arm, feeling his grip strength instantly, Vic grits his teeth and says, no you don't! Lifting up his right leg ultra-fast, aiming it at Mezo's head to have him release his arm, in that split second stiffing up his neck muscles as the kick makes perfect contact with a loud smack, shocked at seeing the aftermath of his blow, with his face unfazed at the attack that just struck him, Mezo's bland expression doesn't contort in any shape or form, alarmed just a wink at witnessing this, Vic says to himself in his mind, my kick didn't do shit! But then how come he dodged my last att-.
Cutting off Vic from his internal monologue as he peers into his eyes with an expressionless face, with his hand still tightly wrapped on Vic's arm, Mezo lifts him up like a small child and slams him into the solid brittle and rough wall of the corridor. With his body bouncing off the rocky surface, Vic painfully hits the floor with a hard thud, peering down at a now damaged Balman with his face unfeeling at his opponents suffering, Mezo says in a cryptic manner, if this is what you amount to without your blades, then your swordsmanship must be mediocre as well.
