Chapter 245 A Deep Talk!

South: Bisha Town: Puffy Tail Inn

Axle Charmons:

Receiving the keys as we check into an inn named the puffy tail, now with our place to stay checked off, sliding his key into his pocket, Muha says with impatient Ness as he is hungry, ok our rooms have been booked. Can we please find somewhere to eat now.

Feeling the need to converse with Dante, gazing over at him but being vocal out loud, I say, Muha you and Damian can go without us. I need to speak with Dante about something.

Only thinking about what he wants, Muha says with a dramatic undertone, great see ya. Have fun with your chat. Turning his back with no care on why I need to speak with our brother, Muha then walks away, quiet as he stands and looks at me with a suspicious expression, Damian says nothing as he then too follows behind Muha.

Watching them leave the building for a second and then shifting my attention toward Dante, I say with a reasonable voice, come on let's head to our room so we can have some quiet while we discuss.

Walking first as I head to the room we got assigned to, creeping right next to me on my right, Dante says as he looks at me with a serious expression, will walk and talk. I'm curious why did you want to speak with me without the others?

Blunt with my words as we leisurely pace down a corridor of doors, I say as I stare into Dante's eyes, don't act like you don't know brother. I saw your eyes when Mezo's name was mentioned in the wagon.

Pensive as his eyes go dark, seeing his hands tense, Dante says not a word, as my words give no excuse to even lament to.

Speaking out again to really dig deep, I say with a strictness to my voice, I knew you wouldn't let your hatred simmer down that easily, but Dante again I want him to pay too for what he did. Revenge is...it's an understandable emotion to drive you toward a goal, but it also can consume you to do things that aren't in the right frame of logic at times.

Not even looking at me as I can feel that his aura about him is dark at the moment, opening his mouth to let me hear his sentence, Dante says, typical of you to really see past me putting up a fake face to hide my true feelings Axe. I get that you want me to not let my burning hatred for that man, to fuel me. And before you say if Uncle Vic was still alive, I don't want to hear it, I know. Just let me keep brooding right now, because it's going to take a while until I come out of the abyss malice that pumps my heart.

Soaking in my brother's sewn into deep emotional scars that are binding his heart, I say with my tone solemn, understood. But understand this though Dante, and this will be the last time I bring this up, if your hatred overwhelms you to an extent to where you could be a danger to yourself and to others around you, I shall stop you by any means necessary, remember that.

Silent as the air is so thick from our harsh conversation, we just keep walking in silence because nothing else can be said.
