Chapter 3: Returning & Turning 5
(Three and a half weeks later) - (Valerian POV)
Over the last few weeks, Grayfia, my sister and I had grown much closer, we trained with each other, played games, ate together and even slept in the same room. There was two more days before we were leaving, and as we made our way to the garden to continue training, we saw our parents coming over to us. I had also found out about how serious Aunt Anala's maid fetish was, which is apparently where Grayfia got it from.
"We are leaving soon, by the end of the week I'd say." My mother spoke up while looking at my sister and I. Grayfia's expression deflates hearing her say that. Seeing her, I pat her on the head and she leans into my hand with a satisfied expression. My mother and Aunt Anala look amused with a glint in their eyes, which no one knows what they're thinking, other than each other.
A few days passed once again with nothing of note really happening, just the usual training. Though since we had been doing serious training everyday, all three of us have enormous growth.
Since we all three were around the same point, with my sister having better control than Grayfia, and the same amount of control as me, we were all focused on training both our control to perfection and our use of our families' respective magic.
We spent the rest of our time together the same way we had for the past three and a half weeks. By the time we had to leave though, my sister and I were both much closer to Grayfia and we had all gotten much stronger than before, Grayfia and I were already at low middle-class in terms of strength, and my sister was at high middle-class in terms of strength. Considering our age, and the general strength of devils at the time, it was amazing. My mother, who is considered one of the strongest early devils, is at mid satan-class, and is just one step below Lucifer, who is a high satan-class, and on par with the other devil kings, Leviathan, Asmodeus and Beelzebub, who are also mid satan-class.
Now, my mother, sister and I are all standing in front of the Lucifuge family outside of their manor. I didn't take note of it before, but their manor is extremely beautiful. The whole thing is made out of white marble, and a lot of glass. Outside of the garden that we always trained in, there is also a lake behind the manor, and a stone garden on the opposite side from the regular garden.
Pulling my mind away from their manor, I look at them(the Lucifuges) and see that Grayfia looks downcast for the first time since I met her, even Aunt Anala looks a little sad that we are leaving. My mother and I share a look and hug them, me hugging Grayfia, and my mother hugging Aunt Anala, which they both returned..
"Well, next time you all can stay over in our territory instead, and Grayfia, you are always welcome to stay anytime you want, even if your parents can't, I'm sure they wouldn't mind that much." My mother said smiling at Grayfia after we pulled back from our respective hugs. With an excited look Grayfia looked at her mother and father for approval, to which they both laughed and her father spoke up, "You're free to go over whenever, though please don't bother them too much. You need one of us to take you with a teleportation circle and to bring you back. Also you can't go right now, there's some things we need to take care of."
She nodded and then said excitedly, "Okay! I'll make sure to not bother them too much." She then turned back to me and my sister, who walked up behind me and smiled, "I'll come visit with you all soon, so don't slack on training or I'll surpass you both!" My sister and I looked at each other and chuckled, "Same to you." My sister said and I nodded in agreement. With that, we bid our final farewell, and a teleportation circle appeared below us, taking us back to our manor.
It had been about nine months since we left the Lucifuge territory, and returned to our own.
Other than continuing my training, nothing of much importance happened. Grayfia had come to visit quite a few times throughout the year, and we had gotten a lot closer. Other than that, my control on my powers was coming along very well. Finally, on my fifth birthday, in the morning, I was training my power some more, and I was finally able to shape my chaos energy outside of my body and form it into a spell without wasting any energy.
When I did, I heard that same mechanical voice from five years ago. {Congratulations host, your now have enough control over your power where the system can release the first 'restriction' on your power and some of the system functions have unlocked. Say 'Status' to open your status, 'Inventory' to see what's in your inventory, and 'Training' to see an organized list of what powers you will unlock, and the most efficient way to do so.}

Looking at my Status, I was surprised to see that I was now a High-Class Devil. I released my aura, which was much stronger than before, which makes me a high class Devil, also making me eligible for devil pieces. 'Unfortunately, they haven't even been invented yet, so I will have to wait for Ajuka to create them and maybe even help him. I might be able to secure myself some of the original king pieces as well. Later.'
'Hmm, system what are these skills? And why are some of them locked?'
{Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Enhanced Senses and Telepathy are self explanatory. Abstract Existence is the state of existence of a being due to which they are able to embody an abstraction, such as a concept, idea, thought, or an information. Lastly, Power Bestowal lets the user grant another individual/s new abilities or forms.
As for the locked skill, they are locked because your body cannot hand those powers yet.}
'Okay... Also system, how does my inventory work?'
{It is from the system using your space and time manipulations to set a personal dimension for you to store items. Which is why they are labeled as [Almost Completely Sealed] rather than just [Sealed].}
'Last thing, 'Training'.'
Training Recommendation: Train in matter manipulation until you have matter conversion mastered.

'Well, that was my plan anyways. Alright, time to get ready, the Lucifuges and Sitris are on their way to our territory before the party tonight. I really don't want to attend this stupid party with the other noble houses.' I stood up and headed to my room to take a bath and get dressed.
Once I was done, I headed to the greeting hall, where my mother was waiting for my sister and I. Sitting down beside her on the couch, she wrapped her arm around me and pulled me into a hug. I leaned against her and hugged her waist with both my arms, burying my face in her chest.
She giggled and started to stroke my hair, "How's your magic training coming honey?"
I pulled back slightly, though still hugging her and said, "Good, just today I got perfect control over my power, now I just need to work on the magic itself. Also, I got my third pair of wings."
She looked at me in shock before hugging me tightly with a huge smile on her face. "That's amazing honey, I'm sure by the time your an adult, you'll be stronger than Lord Lucifer himself." She didn't know how much of an understatement that was when she said that.
"I'll make sure you won't fall behind in strength either." I said in a muffled tone. While I couldn't see it, I knew she had a smile on her face, though I'm sure she though I just said that to comfort her.
