CHAPTER 11

Joyce had woke up in morning dressed and ready to go to her boyfriend's house to greet his mother, Joyfar too had ready to go to work. their mother and their father were in living when he came down from up stair.

"Good morning mummy" Joyfar greeted.

"Morning, how is your night?" His mother asked. Sat on the hand of the chair with a bag in his hand.

"I am good ma, mom am about to go" took the car key on the table with his bag.

"Okay my son bye" his mother said.

"Bye my son, take care" his father said, door opened and closed. Joyce met them in living room.

"Good morning mom and Dad" bow a little bit

"Morning my baby, how are you?" her father asked. Took a cup of wine and put the cup on the table

"Am fine sir" drunkk a wine again.

"Am going to Olu's house.

"Have you eat?" Her mother asked.

"Yes mom, i have eat since"

"Don't stay long" her father said.

"Okay daddy, bye!!! Bye!!"!

"Bye my daughter, help me to greet his mother"

"Okay mom" she left door closed.

She took a cab to Olu's house stopped at their gate, the gate man opened the gate for her and they exchanged greeting between themself; knocking at the door.

His mother was about to go to shop when they heard someone knocking at the door.

"Who is there?" Olu asked came out from his room.

"Is me Joyce" she answered.

"Come in" He said and opened the door for her.

"How are you?" He hug her.

"Am fine" she answered sat on the chair.

"Let me get you a soft drink" his mother came out from her room wore Akara with a black bag in her hand, Joyce stood up when she saw her coming out.

"Good morning mummy"

"Morning my daughter, how are you?" Olu put the soft drink on the table and sat beside her.

"Am going to shop, enjoy yourself"

"Mummy thank you for the gift"

"You are welcome my daughter"

"I love that bracelet, my mother said that the bracelet is made once in a year" Joyce said.

"Yes, i bought it when I go to USA"

"Mother told me that USA is the only place you can see it" she said.

"Yes, it is not everywhere and very expensive"

"Thank you very much ma"

"You are my child i can do anything for you"

"Am going, no time, bye my children"

"Bye!! Bye!! Ma" both said. Door closed.

"Is God that said you will meet her" changed his position and sat beside her.

"If i don't meet her at home, we will go to her shop now and even i will use that opportunity to know her shop"

"Oh!! oh!! Is true" shook his head.

"How far now, how is everything" looking at him.

"It fine, am good as you can see"

"Where did they post you for service and for camp"

"It is Ibadan, for service and camp" feeling happy.

"Mom have been helping me to work it to one big company in Lagos here"

"Am just happy that is the same place that they post two of us" he said with happy voice.

"Am hungry, let go out and eat" Olu said.

"There is no food in the house" she asked.

"Of course their is food at home"

"Let me go and cook then"

"That is not stresses, is woman work to cook"

"I am coming give me some hour it will ready"
