Why are You Here?
Serena fell silent as she gazed at the man's face, now standing right at the doorstep of her house. She couldn't believe why the guy showed up there.
"W-why are you here? Oh no, I mean, why are you back?" Serena looked at Rhys with a puzzled expression. Just a few minutes ago, they parted ways, and unexpectedly, the guy suddenly returned. And now he's standing right in front of her house.
"I just remembered something. You haven't had breakfast yet, right? So, since I saw that there's a restaurant not far from here, I stopped by there for a while and bought some food for you." Rhys handed over a bag containing the food he had bought.
"No need, I—"
"Accept it. Don't refuse my gift." Rhys took Serena's hand and placed the bag in her grasp. Serena could only remain silent as Rhys forced her to accept the food. She felt a bit bad that Rhys was too kind to her.
"In that case, thank you. I'll eat it later."
