After talking to Serena, Rhys could tell that there was something she was trying to conceal from him. But he didn't understand what she wanted to keep hidden. Rhys truly didn't understand.

As he thought about yesterday's events, Rhys suddenly remembered the moment when Serena came out of the restaurant and met Hugh. Rhys witnessed the whole incident through the window on the second floor, and every time he recalled the incident, Rhys felt hurt. It was still very difficult for him to accept the fact that after yesterday's meeting, he would no longer be able to see Serena. That was because he had promised Serena to stay away from her.

"Sir!" Rhys snapped out of his thoughts as Jasper entered his office. "You didn't forget about today's meeting, did you?"
