Chapter 21 Bit by bit
Bit by bit the chariot was slowing down and as it moved one of the wheels went loose and then out it went, it went away. There was only one wheel that supported the carriage and it didn't help much, the side of the chariot screeched on the floor as the horses pulled it behind. The odds were against them and there was nothing else to do aside waiting for fate to make its decision.
"Ahhh '' She screamed as the chariot struck a tree stamp and then they went flying above the ground. It spun three times with both human beings and horses screaming in sync. As it came down, the front struck the ground making the other side part into two equal halves.
The sound of wood snapping itself echoed in the air as it crashed against the floor.
. "Are you okay?" Elician said, recovering from the fall.
" Over here" She showcased her direction which is on the ground away from the falling position.
Neigh!!!!
One of the horses screamed, limping her way into the bushes . " No,no" They tried to stop it but to no avail it went away.
"Look! The other one is here but I don't think it will live" Lacey suggested while dusting the dirt off of her rich clothes.
" What is it you are talking about?" Elician asked.

" Oh, I ve seen it"
His gaze fell on the black horse laying under one of the broken halves of the chariot.
"It's going to die, we can't get it off her"
The sight of a boy raising the seamingly 300 Kg of wood reflected in Lacey's iris.
He was this strong! Her cheeks colored pink while staring at the mighty looking skinny boy welding the heavy shaft.
"Don't just stand there, hold the rope else it will get away." He ordered.
The horses hurried her way from the wood and just as she was about to run away! The mighty bosom of Lacey Evans grabs the rope of the horse trying to stop it herself but she wasn't strong enough to hold it still. The horse tried to move forward with its four limbs but Lacey was on the ground with her belly sliding after it. "Help!" She screamed.
"Oops, I thought you were strong but clearly your words are stronger than yourself." He sighs as he jumps off and grabs the end of the rope making the horse stop instantly.
Lacey was surprised! Could it be true that he actually killed those men? And if he did, how come he is this strong?" A voice interrupted her deep thinking.
" Hey! Any ideas?"
" Oh yeah, climb it and get out of here." She replied.
Elician's face lit in surprise " I am sorry what?"
" Yeah I mean it, climb it!"
Elician almost let loose of his grip. He didn't know how to climb it.
" I don't do, horses!"
"What? You can't ride?"
She asked, confused.
" You wanted me to ride a horse? "He yelled.
"You can ride?... Just forget it. Hold still and let me climb.
Saying this, she climbs on top of the creepy looking dark horse. Elician stood there eyeing her perfection in horse climbing. All her actions showed one thing: perfection. How can such a rich girl automatically know about horses?
"Ehem… are you coming or not" She draw his attention.
"Wait! You want me to climb….on that?" He said with a disgusting look on his face. "Yeesh I hate wild animals"
"Ha,ha, this is not a wild animal. Now can we leave? It's getting late and my dad is going to be worried.
"Oh yeah, sorry"
He went backwards and came running fast as he jumped, flying his way forward and landed on the horse with a strong impact.
'Neigh!!!' It lifted her two legs upward trying to get them off.
"Come down girl" Lacey pets it with her lovely fingers tapping its fur.
"Wow, you are good at this" he commented feeling ashamed.
"Yeah I know," she responded.
"Hold still we are about to leave"
The 🐎 horse neighs and moved between the Air. The air came rushing on their faces, Elician couldn't stop blinking and he felt like he was falling off a cliff.
"Ahh" he yelled involuntarily. Shocked, he placed his fingers on his lips so that his screaming wouldn't be heard by the girl he was sitting behind.
"Is everything okay?" She pulled the horse to a stop. Turning, she noticed the fear in his eyes. Amazing. Wasn't this the same guy that lifted the heavy thing off the horse? And now he is afraid. She couldn't get her mind around it.
"What!!! you've never taken a ride before?" She asked, concerned.
"Yes….." he scratched the back of his head.
"unbelievable… Can we leave now?" Said Lacey.
" Wait….. Um well. I don't have anything to grab on. Can I get off"
" What?" She raised her voice over the stupid suggestions he just made. "You want out?"
"Yeah, I think so"
" Grab on tight, we are late" She said with her hands ready to whip the horse into moving.
"Hold on where?"
She swiped the rope on the horse making it jump it way forward.
"My waist" she said not knowing how weird it sounded to him
But because he didn't have any choice
He formed his ice cold hands around her small waist. The faster they moved, the tighter he held her. The situation at hand made him uncomfortable, never in his life have he ever ridden a horse before and now, he is riding one. And it's one of the creepiest things he ever did as a young man. Even though it was weird, it wasn't as much as a girl sitting in front of him. And the funny part was that, it was supposed to be the other way around.
He was deep in thought, totally forgetting about the new scenery that appeared in their sight.
He heard a shriek escape in the air, until then he released he was squeezing her…..
