Stargazing

"OH, MISS ROCCIA? IS IT REALLY YOU?"

"OF COURSE IT IS, HOW DO YOU NOT RECOGNISE ME?"

"Wait, now that I do look at you a bit, YOU REALLY ARE MISS ROCCIA."

"TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH, AT LEAST GIVE ME A HUG."

"BUT YOU HATE PHYSICA-"

She quickly embraced him, to which he reciprocated back greatly.

"You better come back in one piece you hear me? Or I'll never forgive you."

"I assure you it will go well."

"You don't know the Sound Kingdom as I do alright? That King of theirs, he's not what he seems."

"I'm sure Luce could easily handle him if anything bad were to happen."

"I know that much but, just be careful alright?"

"Alright alright, I promise."

"Thank you." She says with a tear in her eye.

"Now you may go."

"I'll be back in no time."

"𝘐 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵."

Novis waved at all his teachers and started heading toward the exit alongside the fool.

"I didn't expect everyone to care about me this much."

"Well, you're quite smart, handsome, well mannered well dressed, strong, and inspiring."

"Ok, I get it."

"Hey I'm just being honest, just know everyone has their flaws in the end."

"Even you?"

"Especially me, although I am great at many things, oh so many things the amount I do is." Novis started to stare at the fool with a lot of annoyingness in his eyes as if he had had enough of all his tales.

"Tough crowd huh, oh well you'll learn someday."

Darius, caring for his guests as always asks. "My fellow guests, where do you plan on sleeping tonight?"

"Well I'm not too sure, but I think I might have an idea."

"Oh? I do have some spare rooms if you would like, just in case."

"Novis this does sound quite promising."

"If we have any issues we'll be sure to come back."

Novis grabs the fool's hand and runs out of the school, the second he steps out, he starts creating small steps as he climbs upwards in a spiral-like manner.

"W-Woah there Novis, excited much?"

"Just you wait, I'm just getting started."

He took him all the way to the top of the school, the view was incredible, and the city was gorgeous at night, there weren't many lights but the way everything was placed was almost perfect and visually appealing.

"Did you take me up here to see this?"

"That wasn't exactly the plan, but it sure is impressive isn't it."

"I'm surprised Darius even built this, he certainly deserves all the respect."

"Speaking of building, this is where my plan starts."

Novis starts creating a room made out of Water, the walls were Water the ground, even the bed and the ceiling.

"Oh, I see where you're going with this, mind if I help out a little?"

"If you have any ideas? Be my guest."

"Well, first of all, these walls would be better if they were Stone."

The fool raises four Stone walls in replacement of the Water ones.

"Why's that?"

"I wouldn't want anyone to hear us nor see us that well, and water doesn't exactly soundproof things."

"I guess you make a fair point."

"I'll make the floor out of Stone but if you would like to infuse it with your Water, be my guest."

"If you think it's a good idea, then of course."

Novis does exactly as the fool says, and he makes the bed neater, he adds sheets and blankets both made out of Water, although in an actual sense, it wouldn't sound so great, surprisingly it feels quite nice.

"We're both going to sleep in the same bed?"

"Why not? Sound nice to me, also the bed is huge."

"I'm just curious that's all."

"Well if you don't want to, you can easily sleep on the floor, or make yourself a very uncomfortable Rocky bed."

"I'm getting in the bed, don't worry."

"Thank you."

They both tucked themselves into the bed, it was quite the experience, the bed was quite solid but the texture of it said otherwise.

"Are you sure It's safe?"

"Nope."

The fool sighs "At least the stars are quite pretty."

"That was the main idea of all this, to stargaze with you on our final night here."

"Quite the idea coming from you, good job, I'm impressed."

"You keep doing this and I'm going to end up needing this appreciation daily."

"I'll think about it then."

The stars were amazing, there were so many to see so bright and beautiful, and even some constellations were visible.

"This might be one of my most treasured nights in a long time."

"That really means a lot Luce, I'm glad we get to go on this journey as well."

"Speaking of which, quickly pick, heads or tails?"

"Heads?"

"Alright."

The fool flips a coin in the air, it was a nice and plain silver coin, and it did several flips before landing on his chest.

"It's tails, guess I can't tell you it for now."

"Awww really?"

"You picked the wrong side, not me."

"But still, can't you just tell me? really?"

"I would but, It's quite complex and, hard to answer."

Novis was quite distraught by this, but he decided it'd be best to leave this for another time.

"Fine but don't bring it up again unless you're really going to tell me alright?"

"I won't I promise, sorry."

"It's alright I understand, but it can be quite annoying sometimes."

"I know ok I know."

Nevertheless, they enjoyed their night to the fullest, when Novis got tired he replaced the ceiling with a more concentrated Water similar to water found in the deep sea, this was to prevent the sun from being too bright and annoying for when the two of them woke up.

At around Ten Thirty, Novis woke up first as usual.

"𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘴𝘰 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭? 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘴 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦."

He didn't wake him up and instead decided the leave the room they had created early, he made a ladder out of water since there were no exits in the room.

Slowly and carefully he climbed up trying to make the least amount of noise possible, whilst doing so up, he made a hole in the ceiling big enough to fit him so that he could pass through.

"𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘸, 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘶𝘱 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵, 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘺."

Swiftly, he got out and leaped from the room, it was simpler than he thought, and the fool didn't seem to have noticed either, now all he had to do was find the best place nearby.

"I wonder if I'll find anything good, or maybe it would be better if I made something myself, hard decision really."

He strolled around town looking here and there, he had found clothes shops, fruit shops, and lots of things but nothing that had piqued his interest.

That was until an old man walked up to him

"Hey, you there?"

"You mean me?"

"Who else would I be asking for? Aren't you the King's guest?"

"You're not wrong, but the name's Novis."

"GREAT, FANTASTIC EVEN, I would like you and your friend to try my cooking."

"Why's that?"

"I'm trying to start my own restaurant, but I need some people to review my cooking."

"I'm not too sure about this, are you sure It'll be good?"

"If you aren't pleased then you can just hang me."

"Woah woah there sir, no need to go so far."

"This is the last thing I've got, a youngin like you wouldn't understand."

"I think I could but if you say so, what's your name at least?"

"That's not important, just fetch me your friend and I'll cook."

"If you say so."

"You see that house over there? That's where I'll cook for you two."

Novis quickly goes back to get the fool, he enters the same way he got out and finds him still soundly asleep.

"𝘈𝘴 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘩𝘶𝘩."

"Luce? Could you wake up please?"

"What time is it? Can I have five minutes?"

"Well, there is a man waiting for us."

"Who? And why should I care?"

"Apparently he's going to make some breakfast for us."

"For free or?"

"Yes for free."

"It better be good, fine I'll get up, if this isn't worth it I will throw him across the Kingdom and back."

"Don't wake up on the wrong side of the bed then."

"Very funny Novis, time to go I guess."

The fool stretches out and ruffles through his hair, he looks straight ahead of him and breaks the wall before him.

"Strong as always."

"A little too strong, here I'll show you the way."

"Honestly at this point just carry me."

"Say please at least."

"Pleaseeeeeeee, carry meeeee."

Novis laughs a bit and carries him on his back to the man's house.

Upon arriving he questions the man.

"Why are you outside?"

"I just got here, HOW ARE YOU THAT FAST?"
